I don't see that any of those people are worth spending $500 for sex. I wouldn't if they paid me! #getajob!

Well, I am sure that having tattoos of failed companies on your face makes it a little difficult to get a job. It is like having a big "I make bad choices" sign permanently on your face. Who is going to hire someone like that?
So getting a job wasn't considered an option? Of course with tattoos of defunct companies tattooed across your face, it is a pretty good indicator that you make bad choices. Makes it hard to land a job...
Actually this reminds me more of the Voidhawk Technology from Peter F. Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy. It used gravitational modifications to create velocity. Exactly the way they are describing.
But when your kid says to you in the morning when he is trying to make his PB&J sandwich that we are out of jelly, it gets pretty annoying. Also when your are out and decide to stop for some groceries, if you could just send a query to your fridge, it could be all kinds of awesome.
Uh, i think RFID's on your food that talks to the Fridge would be a lot cooler.
Won't that distort the front facing camera?
This product makes no sense. When you use it you can no longer use the interface. I could understand if it were in Landscape orientation for watching videos and things like that, but in portrait? It is useless!
So Italy wants to force a major international corporation to make a seriously bad investment in an already bad market. It is shocking how much like Atlas Shrugged the real world has become.
I would love to see more about the Gyroscopic Stabilization system. Sounds cool!
Oh yes clearly cuckolded whatever the hell that means....
It is so nice that there is at least 1 funny guy on late night now. Letterman is just a bitter political hack, and Leno quit being funny.... well in the 80's probably. Although I guess Craig Ferguson can be funny sometimes.
Huh, I figured it was something like "What the hell do you think your doing?"
The question was, is it really better than just burning the sugarcane leavings and tilling it into the soil? Or even better question, isn't it possible that the guy with a $100 torch can build 49,900 fancy burn barrels and save the $50,000 that it costs for the shipping container with CNC Plasma cutter.
I get the feeling that driving on Russian roads is just one step above Mad Max.
I am not sure what the product is here. Are they making a fancy burn barrel? Why would the local farmers buy them? I guarantee they don't care about extra carbon. And if they can achieve the same result by just burning the sugarcane debris right in the field then bury it, doesn't that achieve the same result?
You might just be thinking too small. There is so much data that goes through the infrastructure that the cost of it per TERABYTE is pennies. Sure it costs money to build the infrastructure, but compared to things like roads and bridges, the cost is tiny fractions of a percent.
Plenty of movies out there that celebrate/document bad guys. Ever see Natural Born Killers? Any 30's era mobsters? That is basically what she was.
Well it is obvious from this article that the staff at Gizmodo is part of the evil 1%.
How many CD's worth of data passes through each of those data centers every minute? Day, year, decade? If you factor in the actual cost per bit of data you will probably find that it is more like several hundred thousand times cheaper to transmit data than to make a CD. I would be willing to bet that it is cheaper to…
