Well put, I'm willing to bet this styling drives up body repair prices too.

That goes for almost every recent car.

I'm not a Miata guy but I consider them sports cars, "sporty" is stuff like a Mazda 3, regular cars that pretend to be sporty.

Look, I know that Ironman was cool and all, but can we please move on?

I really think that the 850 was just underdeveloped all things considered, it was one of Volvos first FFs. Had they built it up more, rather than just stopping with the S70, they wouldn't be owned by Geely.

Perhaps so, even if I don't like the 850 I can respect its merits, its certainly more interesting than the Ford-era Volvos that followed.

Yea I never understood why Volvo tossed out their tight turning circles, the 850 could turn on a dime despite being FWD.

I wouldn't be in the market for a beater if I couldn't do a little diy.

Those who love it go broke, those who don't get it throw the keys and run like hell.

For the most part yes, did quite a bit of work to my 240 and some with the 850. The 240 was fairly easy with everything, less so the 850.

I feel confident in saying that the Volvo 240 used quite a bit of leftover APC parts.

115hp going into the front wheels? I know what they should call this:

What 10 reasons? I think they're junk.

I'm sure that you're used to having the hood up.

Volvo love brought me to an 850 that did nothing but act like a Saab, demand money.

Loved Volvo when I owned a 240, hated them when I owned an 850. Dunno if I'd buy another one since their interiors started to suck after the 240.

Let me share an example of my own:

Yea but the 740\940 interiors suck royally, nice seats, just watch out for sagging headliner, broken "luxury" items, rattles, and cracking seats. Its like Volvo replicated an 80's GM interior in terms f quality.

That is true, if you can afford one to begin with.

K Cars only get good when you're riding with John Candy, preferably between two 18 wheelers.
