The manager advice, the routine advice and the calendar blocking (not for pumping but for leaving the office) are super valid for men. We adopted so the other advice didn’t apply for me either, and my husband took 3 of the months of our shared parental leave so I saw what he went through.

I’m going to miss the toy library we had in our town. You only paid $20 a year and got to check-out and check-in toys as much as you wanted. You could also visit for free and play there. I managed to visit a few times before it closed but never used the lending part because my kid was too small and now it closed :(

Pun intended? :)

Well, part of the funeral is to be there to support the people going through it, so I would expect my mother in law to be there for me when my dad passes. Not everyone feels the same obviously :)

When I was a TA in a Computer Science program I had someone deliver a photocopied assignment of another team. Kid you not, photocopied, you could see the very obvious photocopy lines on the sides and only the header/name page didn’t have it (headbang)

You don’t understand how asylum works, do you? you haven’t seen the horrors some people are living, do you? These are not all illegal aliens being horrible bringing their children. It has been said a million times they are also asylum seekers running away for the sake of their children.

It totally causes me headaches in all of its forms. I can’t eat almost any prepackaged snacks, nothing canned or boxed like Mac and cheese or sauces, and most restaurants. My parents in law cooking also causes me headaches because they use a lot of flavours in envelopes. I know how it affects me and I’m prepared for

lol, we do too. Actually have one at home, one at grandparents, one at daycare and the emergency one. Bad part is that 3 of them are identical and one (the original one) is not exact, but close enough he doesn’t notice. We also move them around enough so you wouldn’t know which one is the emergency one and which one

I find it interesting that so many comments say you should shut down the computer. I have the EXACT SAME problem but it turns on (yes, from being OFF). I shut down my computer every time I’m not using it (SSD) and most times I don’t use it for days at a time, and come to find it on.

I’m a pyro, my husband is always asking me the same thing hahaha

We have been watching Flash and Arrow, but stopped Supergirl and Legends last season. Should we find the episodes for those 2 to get the full picture of the crossover? Or is it something that you can enjoy and understand by watching only 2 of the 4?

That’s simply not true of everyone. I have been on the receiving end of “you wouldn’t understand” and I have kids now and not a single thing I was told I wouldn’t understand is true. I agree it doesn’t apply to everyone but it is also unfair to assume that childless people would not understand when you don’t know

I’m sorry you had to go through that, but great advice. I didn’t miscarriage, but I am infertile and your advice applies after infertility treatments fail too. Knowing you are not alone, and that you are not broken or damaged, that it’s not your fault but bad luck or sick or whatever, that your partner also feels

We do this too! Exact same age and everything, love my bean bag. He plays around, mommy gets some rest :)

As always someone telling someone else to adopt. Adopting is not as easy as people think AND it’s not for everyone. I have been in the IVF side, and I also adopted, I can speak from both sides that neither is easy and sometimes adoption can be expensive. I did adopt through the government so technically it was “free”

I dont get it either, is like they were never kidless and tired before. I got that one a couple of years ago in the middle of infertility treatments, it took all I had not to get up, smack him and leave the house. I have a kid now and I still think there are MANY many more things that can make you more tired than

Hahaha yes, every other place I’ve eaten :) it’s easier not to find it. Venezuela, Panama and several islands in the Caribbean. If you are in a every-day place and not an all inclusive you won’t find milkshake. I will drink it after if it is in the menu, but not with the delicious flavour of an awesome red snapper.

Plain bread is more than enough. I grew up eating whole fish all the time. It’s rare to let a bone go by anymore, but bread would always get it unstuck and way easier to find than a milkshake.

Neward pre-check was about 20 minutes for me a couple of weeks back, although the normal line looked to be at least an hour.
