@bombastinator: I see your point. I had thought that you were explaining the spiders "thought processes", per se, and not the evolutionary reasoning.

First of all: That title is sensationalistic bullshit. And I'll tell you why. When you say that spiders don't bite when unprovoked, well no shit, I didn't expect them to. You don't know you're provoking them when you're rolling over in bed, stepping in a dark closet barefoot, or reaching into a dark cabinet. But

@bombastinator: Actually, its like a gang sneaks up on you at night and scares the piss out of you and asks you for money and you throw out everything you have because you're so scared. Spiders aren't as logical as you make them out to be.

@rsmith: I think its a pun.

If there are still some key features missing from the redesign, shouldn't it still be in beta?

@razordu30: Buy Hyperdock. You get a free trial but it enables the window-snapping function that is available in Windows 7 so you can maximize Windows by just dragging them to the top of your screen :). And it also lets you snap things to the side and it gives you window previews in the dock. $9.95 online.

Long tag is long.

@burninator: @Mr. Rosewater hates the new redesign: (assuming you live in the United States)

@burninator: I'm simply pointing out the logical fallacy in your reasoning, putting up our justice standards to Iran's. We should always hold ours up to a higher standard, or else there would be no progress.

This is a pretty historic image if you think about it. You have the first black U.S. President... the CEO's of the three most influential Internet companies in their primes (okay, maybe not Yahoo), and you have Steve Jobs... the man who set all of this in motion 25 years ago with popularizing the personal computer

@nicorama888: THIS. If ever I would buy a print of something, it would be this.

@burninator: Religious discrimination in the workplace! this guy should thank his lucky stars he is not in the Third Reich he would be dead. But please enlighten us on this Utopia you live in? Is it a free society? or the Land of Religious Tolerance?

It's only a matter of time before we make something better than ourselves.

It may just be me, but Steve doesn't look half-bad with his glasses off.

It's so weird seeing them all together.

You should include that Unchrome is a Windows application only.

For a sec I thought the title was a typo and was meant to be "What mine of data does Chrome send to Google?".

Bring back the vinyl. I have a few LPs and they feel so material... as if the music is actually there in my hands. Unlike CDs, where I just feel a small, shiny, plastic disc. And they would stand out much more in stores. I've never known of anybody collecting digital music as a hobby. You couldn't rip or shoplift

@panikt: Read again, the source said 2/3 the size.
