“... great lines, the best!” he finished.

It’s a shame she didn’t stumble on the definition of “Complicit” on her way to looking up “Conflate” in the dictionary, it’s barely a couple pages before it.

I like the lamp but not so much the stand; any other suggestions by any chance?

I’ve always found that video of the woman falling into the machinery absolutely horrific on a visceral level. I mean of course what happened to her is horrible but in this case I find myself averting my eyes with a pit in the stomach.

If you have to be a ‘force for good’, you imply that the natural trend or is evil - or at least, not good enough. That’s a rather sad thing for a daughter to say of her POTUS of a father, on multiple levels.

The good guys are going to continue to lose elections if you, their purported supporters (I don’t include myself as I’m not American, not for lack of shared values), continue to bicker and assign blame to one another two months into the apocalypse. Get it together - emphasis on ‘together’.

It’s a good grammatical point but given the length, prominence and general straight-forwardedness of the post scriptum I’d give that one a pass.

Yeah me too. I never got it.

Man, I liked what the SeaShepherd guys were doing. Are they still in operation?

Huh, the video feed cut off just before landing, then turned back on a few seconds later showing the landed 1st stage. CLEARLY it actually crashed into the sea and we’re only seeing a cardboard prop planted there by their PR guys. /tinfoil

If they start falling from the sky, soon it’s also going to be total mass.

I don’t see how that contradicts my link. Your link states the top 1% pays 46% of all federal income tax, and the bottom 80% pays only 15% (for good reason). It’s not a stretch to accept that the bottom 90% pays less than 46% of all federal income tax, which is basically what the page I linked to stated. I haven’t

Counterpoint: considering the rich are the ones paying the most tax (less than they should? Sure. Still objectively the most in dollar amount), and that the richer they are the more they pay (again: in dollar amount, not in percentage, as frequently reported), isn’t it kind of natural that any cuts would benefit them

Sounds like a great way to funnel the american tax dollars of his great infrastructure plan to all the buddies he just placed on this bogus committee. Up until after a few hundred million in consultant fees they realize Salesforce really isn’t the best choice for all branches of government, at least.

How about if said terrorist takes a plane from Morocco (lol seriously Morocco?) to, say, any country not concerned by the ban, and flies from there instead? OH MY what a darstardly plan!

The memoirs were adapted into a movie with the same title which I very much enjoyed, too. It had the best guest appearance by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck I can remember.

Everty time I read an article about, really, anything, and the words “split along party lines” appear in that order, I stop reading because I have all the information I need.

Every time Trump says something we should go “say it again, but under oath this time”. And any time he refuses - which should be every time, give or take - we can simply all ignore him and move on.

May I offer you our classic “BS intern excuse” package? “By taking advantage of a series of unforeseeable vulnerabilities, an intern was briefly able to use the official @McDonaldsCorp account unsupervised. The offending post was quickly identified and deleted, and in no way represents the views of the McDonald’s

Hope you like everything backwards, really.
