They do more than football games. Basketball, parades, concerts, competitions and so on.

Seriously? The “sexual hazing” was LITERALLY a game of “would you rather.” You know, like high school kids play on the bus. Questions like, “would you rather have sex with an Oregon Duck or a real duck?”
Think of it like a function key bar that developers and users can customize. It pretty cool.
Not as useless as your response.
Ok, Watson. But do you agree that the popular vote as it’s tallied in an EC election is not a reliable indicator of the people’s will?
They were both minority candidates in the literal sense. No one achieved 50% of the vote.
Not true. There are states where district totals contribute to congressoinal elections.
Or, politicians only focus campaigning efforts on California, Ney York, Pennsylvania, and a Florida because if you can win two of those by a 70-30 margin, you could win he whole damn thing.
You need a 2/3rd majority from the states to amend the constitution. This isn’t happening in regards to the EC.
Because then smaller states would lose governing power. Why the fuck would any of them stay in the union if they didn’t have any say in national politics.
Sure, but they campaigned in abut 25 other states each that wouldn’t get even a sniff in a popular vote election. Trump didn’t even run ads in California.
Look up “representative democracy” and you will find it is a synonym for “republic.” They are one in the same and the US is both.
If you want to use the popular vote as “the will” consider that Clinton failed to achieve a majority vote as well.
How so? We have no idea how a popular vote election would play out. Surely both campaigns would employ different strategies under those circumstances.
We didn’t run a popular vote election. You can’t look at the popular vote results in an electoral election and assume they would be the same if we changed the rules from the get go. Maybe Clinton wins again, maybe Trump does. They both ran election focused on the electoral votes, it doesn’t necessarily play out the…
Won’t happen. Trump is the first president to enter the White House on a pro gay marriage platform. He stood in front of the RNC and scolded them for not accepting the LBGT community.
No way. Look at the cloud shading and pixiliation on the trumpets as compared to the Apple IIgs or Amiga.
Bama didn’t play a top ten team all year. Their non conference is powerhouses like Kent State and Western Kentucky. They have three truly good wins and the rest against a conference thats very top heavy—falling off a talent cliff once you get to the 5th best team.
Appreciate it.
It will be interesting. I actually think UW’s defense matches up well. They are arguably the best defense in the nation and very difficult to run on. Fast line backers to the outside and two first round picks in the secondary.
