Ugh, that’s the goal with my new ride...

“The commenters outside looked from feminist to troll, and from troll to feminist, and from feminist to troll again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”

Can I use my step-mom? She’s a homicidal bitch anyway.

And your dad will treat you like shit.

Please. You’re venting this based on the high moral standards of porn stars?

Jesus, speak for yourself, man.

Bitch, please.

Well you are changing the debate.

Torque wrench.

You’ve got some errors in there. Your definitions are ok, but your reading of the units isn’t. Torque is most commonly measured in ft*lb, or Nm. You will notice that both of those include a force and a distance. The measurements of force are pounds in one system, and Newtons in the other. (Metric really is easier to

Let me make the point clear - stop confusing a force with work.

If I read his comment right hp = Torque x math...right?

COTD

read the linked article. I get it fine. Torque = force at a lever arm distance (lbs-ft) but there is no time component and thus its a static (non moving) force. Hp = (Torque x rpm (angular velocity))/5252 (mathematical conversion constant) which means that POWER is force in motion. Torque is not a thing that matters,

“Horsepower is a derivative of math, torque is a true measurement of force.”

Horsepower is all that matters as its torque in action (torque being a static force), however since HP IS torque applied at a rate than more of it means more power more places. Its just a matter of how much force and at what rate - lots of force at a low rate is the same amount of power as low force at a high rate.

Every month that passes, I hate myself more for not buying one when they where still reasonably priced.

Now this is a /thread. Clown shoe content always wins.

Slick!
