This. Previous owner of my M Coupe had all-seasons on the car when I bought it. Swapped those out for some Super Sports and it was night and day. Previous owner of my ‘80 Corvette had base-size 225/70-15 tires, so I switched to 255/60-15s in slightly better rubber (options for 15" wheels are few and pretty crappy) and

I had that exact car! 2000 model Imola Red! Awesome car.

Why get that when there are S52 cars available from the factory?

I had a Z3M Roadster with the S52 engine out of the e36 M3, and I’ve driven an e36 M3 for a friend who was looking at them for a while. Having an S54 car now, it doesn’t feel too different in acceleration until you’re above 4000rpm, where the S52 starts to lose steam and the S54 just keeps going. I think it’s a pretty

So if you want a Z4 Coupe, get the Supra.

He’s gonna throw out the engineer title, I’m gonna do the same, mostly for funsies.

I’m not. Toyota is. This is old news.

370z is not the benchmark for the Supra. The 718 Cayman is.

Oh I’m not a Supra fanboy, rest assured. The mkIV is overrated as far as I’m concerned. I just find it funny how the Supra receives so much vitriol on here. The 370z won’t be competitive with it if it’s struggling with a 440i. Fact. Not to mention, the old Z4 sdrive35is has better acceleration numbers than the 370Z as

Other reviews indicate times in the 4s as well. You’re missing the point though, which is that engine is going to perform significantly better in a car the weighs significantly less. Assuming it’s going to have 370z performance is silly.

4.4

If the B58 will get a ~3,700lb BMW 440i automatic faster to 60mph and through the 1/4 than a Nissan 370z, I think it’ll perform just fine in a ~400lb lighter car (the Supra).

So if you want a Z4/M Coupe, buy the Supra?

The Camaro ran in SCCA D-Street. Very little modification allowed.

First time the ZR-1 moniker was used was for the C3, actually.

Anyone that can destroy a C3 Corvette like that, without shedding a tear, is an enemy of the US.

The “500" in GT500 has nothing to do with the power of the car. They literally gave it that name because it sounded good.

They realized enthusiasts weren’t going to buy it unless it came used from the factory. New cars so expensive!

Shouldn’t it be t-bow if it’s a cross-bow?
