There’s definitely a difference. I have an ‘80 Corvette and an ‘02 Z3 M Coupe, and the difference in low rpm throttle response is very noticeable. The corvette already starts getting rumbly the moment your foot barely touches the pedal, whereas the Z3M has a slight delay between when you press the pedal and the engine
