Well, I think we can all agree that 86 is hardly a "short" life. And I didn't say smoking and a bad diet weren't a problem, I'm saying weight, in and of itself, does not lead inevitably to an early death.

"it is such a shame that she will probably live a short/unhealthy life"

My grandmother was heavier than Sidibe, and smoked a pack a day since she was a teenager, and lived to 86. If Sidibe doesn't smoke, and eats a better diet than my grandmother did (not hard to do), she could make it to 110 for all we know. Heavy

This is the second article I've read on Jezebel today that had a typo in something that was cut and pasted from a piece of writing on another site, where there was no typo. How is that even possible?

Debra Messing and Connie Britton often confuse me when I first look at a picture of one of them.

I remember having the same problem when I first played the GC version, which was the first stealth game I ever played. I think I ended up playing on easy mode until I got the hang of the controls and gameplay, then it actually started to feel too easy, so I went back and restarted on a harder mode. I've played the

YEAH!!!

Take a sample of your dog's handwriting to the FBI.

Heh heh. That's a good point.

"It's just alienating to women fans, young and old, to go into a comics shop and see all the superhuman T&A..."

I second the vote for Saga. Maybe also check out Glory. Both from Image Comics, and both have one trade collection out so far, 10 bucks each, I believe.

I wouldn't exactly call it "good" writing, but it's not difficult to understand. So yeah, maybe too many blogs.

At least half of that list was taken from "10 Musicians Who Should Be Blacklisted By Everybody."

Connie Britton is one of the strongest arguments in favor of human cloning. There should be one in every city.

I'm pretty sure I thought the same thing as Jose Canseco when I saw "worm castings" at the organic market where I buy groceries. Because, seriously, they're selling worm shit by the bag.

I'm also pretty sure this is the only time my though process and Canseco's have intersected in any way.

I imagine anywhere close enough to reach the same audience would have resulted in the same punishment. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the Russian authorities would have used any proximity to a church as an excuse to squash dissent, in the name of respect to churchgoers.

"Yeah, I'm a little scared to say it but I do have a problem with their venue (i.e., a church)."

But part of the point they were trying to make was that the church in Russia is working with Putin's government. That makes the location relevant, and maybe led to people, like parishioners and church leaders, examining

Not a big deal, it just struck me as surprising that anyone who reads a Gawker blog wouldn't have at least come across the name before. For what it's worth, I'd trust him with my money more than half the people I personally know.

Huh, that's weird. Bok choy (organic or not) always seems to keep forever for me.

Somebody posted that Jeopardy picture a couple days ago, and I immediately had to make it a desktop.
