It's nice, but I'd still prefer a Lincoln Mk II.

It certainly had the longest production run.

NYC already has a higher driving age than the rest of the US: 18. How's it working?

Counterexample: Sunday afternoon in August on Park Avenue when you get all the lights green.

Hell - for decades there was basically no speed limit enforcement in NYC at all. I've never heard of anyone getting tickets for anything except illegal parking. (Note: haven't driven in regularly in NYC since the early 90s, obviously it's changed)

Not quite the same level, but I knew a Doctor in NYC who's only car was 512. He didn't actually drive it that much; he preferred the subway.

Yes, as bad as some US plants and British Leyland facilities were, I'd expect Eastern Europe to dominate. "They pretend to pay us and we pretend to work" and all that.

For comparison, the original V8 Fords could do it in about 18.

It's not from lack of trying on the Germans' part.

Did she stop on a blind curve? Because otherwise how is this her fault - the cyclist was following her too closely to stop, it sounds like.

Interesting. Do you mind if I ask which state(s) they live in? (I'm kinda flabbergasted they have actual moderate Republicans to vote for, unless we're talking the Northeast).

The women registered as "Republican" aren't moderates. They're fundies who've drunk the cool-aid. And even my mom, who wore an AUH2O pin in 64, and went to every Billy Graham Crusade in NYC ever, had qualms about the Republicans anti-choice positions - I wouldn't surprised if she secretly voted for Carter and

I apologize in advance if this is a ridiculous question, but do modelling agencies drug test?

In America we have an adversarial system. If the other side screws up, the miscarriage of justice is on them. Should we adapt the European "Inquisitorial" system? That's a huge discussion in its own right.

Slut shaming was very much considered an ethical practice in the early 1970s. Times actually have changed, albeit slowly.

Iraq in 2004 wasn't yet a total shit show. Katrina hadn't happened. The economy was decent. Kerry was a parody of a rich, self-satisfied liberal, the Democratic Romney. It was a different era, man.

I'm glad she got it. I tried Googling the answer to my own question, but the first couple of pages of results were all about lawsuits resulting from failed sterilization attempts that led to babies. That said, an awful lot of doctors have serious god complexes, so "being dicks" is certainly possible.

"You think moderate Republican women are single issue pro-choice voters? No, they're not" You'd be surprised. Actually, I don't there are any "moderate Republican women" anymore. That train left the station when Gerald Ford lost to Carter in '76.

Romney was the establishment's last gasp, and he lost the general. The Tea Party gets their way in 2016, and it'll be 1964 all over again.

Disaster. Thank god the apathetic can self-select out of the governing process.
