I'm having no problems getting through Nightmare. I have made some gold purchases on the AH. I am unable to get through Hell solo. I probably could manage it by kiting elites through hour-long fights, but that's crap gameplay. I won't sit for it, it's poorly designed and unfun.

I'm willing to believe that I don't have the skill to play this game, in which case it absolutely is not for me.

Forgive me if my memory is off. I know that I've finished Nightmare with four character classes and I tried my highest character (a Witch Doctor) in Hell. Maybe she's 52 instead of 42. Either way, the game is crap at high level, it's just not fun.

As I said to another poster, I can plow through normal enemies pretty easily, but every encounter with elites consists of running, kiting, and ultimately dying. I cannot get through Hell difficulty solo. It's a boring clickfest against most monsters, then a ridiculous running/kiting/futile screaming when I meet a boss.
