You know you’re a bad writer when the best new thing you can come up with is a gender swap version of your own material. :/

I know, right?! This is going to bug me until there is some sort of canon explanation.
Hello, I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
Judging from this Twitter, one of the show’s writers, Matt Burnett, really likes MTG as well, so ... you might not be far off. ;D
I thought the How Gems Are Made vid raised more questions than it answered because it didn’t actually provide more information than could be inferred from episodes about the Kindergarten. Like, what exactly are the machines injecting into the ground, and what exactly are the nascent Gems sucking out of the Earth?…
Do you think the Kardashians will be pissed because this is the one game featuring them that they can’t make money off of?
I would watch that, but that’s not really a surprise. XD
It’s my headcanon that Amethyst spent a significant amount of time around wild animals before Rose and Co. found her, which is why she acts the way she does + why she can shapeshift so easily.
Yeah ... something sinister is going on here.
SUPPOSEDLY she can shapeshift a digestive system, although this begs the question of how Gems know what human organs are like. Do the Crystal Gems have a bunch of like anatomy textbooks or something? (Yes, I’ve thought about this before.)
This episode was so fun I almost don’t want to put on my Ronaldo glasses and get into the super serious plot implications, but did anyone catch Peridot’s line about harvesting gems when she un-poofs and looks at all of the bubbled gems? Harvesting gems? Uh, what has Homeworld been up to?
I think the bathroom is mostly for Steven’s benefit, but all of the stuff Amethyst consumes has to go ... somewhere.
Word. I don’t know the exact quote, but Rebecca Sugar has said something like there are no true villains on the show, and I’ve been thinking about that a LOT, especially with regard to Jasper.
This is probably unpopular, but I’m kind of hoping Steven can work his magic on Jasper at some point like he has with Lapis and Peridot. I’m probably reading too much into it, but the showrunners have been hinting at some interesting stuff with Jasper. :3
I already knew they looked alike, yet I can’t stop staring at the top photo.
Is that what it is? I couldn’t figure it out.
Did anyone else catch the weird throwaway moment with Ronaldo and his ... diagram (?) of a Gem that looks like Peridot?
People on the SU wiki of all places are complaining about Steven being in a dress. If that’s what can bother you, then how are you even watching the show? >:(
I’m really hung up on these cluster Gems and the idea there are multiples of the big ones as demonstrated in this episode.
Looking for awful pictures of Tom Hardy is one of my favorite online activities so enjoy this treasure from 1998. :)
