The question is, how will they implement in-window DLC?

correction: "definitely 98% of developers that use text trees under the guise of player choice in their games"

It's being published by Atlus for the PSP. I'd say there's a 90% chance of that happening.

Once upon a time I could go for that. Now I'm just happy to finish the main story of a game without ditching my responsibilities. Star Ocean has been glaring at me for a year, but I'm too scared to open it.

Don't shop at Rosen Quein Co. It's obviously a scam. :53

You sir, are a masochist. I played enough to max out the characters, but probably still needed 20 hours just to ace the side quests and craft all items.

It's called Tokitowa, for PS3 so far. Have a look at it on andriasang.com. On the upside, there aren't generic nobodies who are destined to save the world, and the animation is gorgeous. On the downside, they're still children... man am I sick of playing as children in RPGs. I miss you Nier.

I understand your point completely, but I don't understand why Gawker couldn't have done something simple just to raise awareness, like a small change to the logo for a day. I made this one in paint as a quick example. You could link the logo to your article about SOPA instead of the homepage.

I think it does have one, just not on Normal+ difficulty. NA version removes it starting with Hard. Try easy. The puzzles will still be plenty challenging, but much less frustrating.

Not gaming related, but Gawker covered it, as well as an awesome email about it from Brian Williams.

Surprised to see this optimistic update here. Thanks for your presence.

As somebody who literally just finished Alan Wake (last night), I can't imagine there is anybody who enjoyed this game and wanted more fighting. In fact the only criticism I have with the game is there were far too many pointless and tedious fight scenes that had nothing to do with the story. They managed to elude

In that case it's just irritating :)

It's one major reason, but many also claim that Origin deletes your games when inactive, steals your personal information, etc. I have not had these issues though, I simply don't like being forced to have games with multiple services. They are essentially bloatware, so the fewer the better.

On console it's probably fine. Even if the service were good on the PC however, people don't like being restricted to a certain platform. Why not allow it to be drm-free, GOG, Desura, Origin, and Steam enabled? More people to buy more copies of your game. (self-promotion with Origin)

If you have a console, sure. Why not let everyone else enjoy it though? The more platforms the merrier.

I sold a mint condition Sega genesis with CD and 32X attachments, and a Nomad, with about 50 CD and 32X games for $75 total (yeah, eBay wasn't really around yet...) All because I decided to get rid of my gaming habit and become more social.

In their defense, it does cover 95% of customer support issues.

5.1mb/s with Time Warner. According to my own testing, it doesn't take much more data than streaming Netflix. Just to note, the size of the game doesn't matter, as it's all about the smoothness of the stream (your download rate). The recommended rate for OnLive is 5mbps according to their website, with a 2mbps
