I procrastinate on lifehacker for 10 minutes, then come back focused and energized.

@OrbitalGun: It would be difficult to get excited. It's better than not, but still... Thanks for keeping up with inflation?

Refine the translation, add more languages, refine the microprocessor, maybe some kind of inductive resonance charging, add a little future.... then make me a contact lens.

@phamm: You're right in that physical damage to an avatar makes the game more believable, and may even make you feel for the protagonist. However, I get the very strong impression that this was not the reasoning discussed in the Square-Enix board room...

@FuzzyHorror: Mnerd made that point as well, and I believe it, though I haven't found numbers either. It makes perfect sense. Either way, neither bulb is environmentally friendly, though CFLs are often claimed to be. CFLs may still be a step up, but LEDs seem like the best option.

@mnerd: That I actually believe. It's also a reason why electric cars probably shouldn't be the wave of the future. Either way, LEDs are certainly better than both.

All I needed to read was that they don't contain mercury. LED lights sound they are just about ready for my entire home. I always blow my lid when I read an article about how 'green' CFLs are. Filled with mercury, they're far worse for the environment than incandescents. Although you're supposed to recycle them,

@archronos: The fact that this is what bothers you the most scares me.

This is pretty much the only thing I've wanted to be portable since I got my phone. Now I can finally check my trophies on the go! It really will be the killer app.

@FoxKelfonne: I agree. I adore Nier. The localization and NA release of Nier was quite good with Square-Enix as the publisher. Perhaps publishing is their new calling, as their game design seems to be on a slippery slope.

@madog: OMG how do you delete posts?!

@madog: creamweasel82

@FoxKelfonne: Cavia was disbanded and absorbed into AQ. Nier was the last game they made, but they went out on a very high note, in my opinion. Too bad we won't see a direct sequel (made by Cavia at least)...

@Frosted Mini-Wheats: Like the7k said, the translation requires a legitimate copy of the game. Import the Japanese game, put the patch on your sd card, and play on your NA Wii. I would never recommend piracy as an option.

@Frosted Mini-Wheats: Tecmo has stated that fatal frame is not coming, as Nintendo has partial rights and doesn't believe it's fit for release. You might as well go ahead and import it/download the wonderful fan translation from cameraslens.

@Elratauru: Ok, that was a little overboard, but it's just as important to the game. Without fatalities, Mortal Kombat is just.... I dunno, ClayFighter?

Oh, this reminded me to import the Prince of Persia HD collection. Also, does anyone know what the ACB: Animus Project DLC is?

Don't forget the hidden costs. If you want all the fatalities, you'll still have to buy the game separately from every exclusive retailer. Unless, of course, the krazy kool kollector's edition comes with all of them, and I'm highly skeptical...
