I played a lot of Math Blaster, but Treasure Mountain is the educational game I remember most fondly. Beethoven's contredanses will be burned into my memory forever. It also had collectible trophies long before they were cool.

37 just made my day. Thank you strangers.

@aynoobynoobers: A lot of kids are still talking about when you took down that Homecoming banner.

@Alex Winton: I think you answered it fairly well for me, actually. I'm used to poor voice acting, so that doesn't offend me much, but the story better be incredible to compensate. Even if it is, it seems that the game doesn't cater to my tastes enough to warrant a purchase until it goes on sale. I'll give it a

@Alex Winton: Would you still recommend this game to me at retail, knowing that I don't care about graphics? I also don't care for pure shooters or action games, and have never had any luck using the Wiimote sideways. From the reviews, I can't get a good feel of what makes this game fun, besides the graphics and

According to the rating and the images, it seems to me like they're making it for 15 year old boys. What I've seen of this game hardly deserves to be called "adult" and "mature."

@jplee0: Really? IR pointing is far superior to twin sticks for accuracy and speed. To invalidate your complaint entirely, this game is actually coming with a classic controller pro. Not saying this game will be good. It probably won't be, but the controller complaint doesn't work here.

Lady Sonic is going to give me nightmares.

@Kraizk: If they had more time, they probably would have added an ASCII middle finger.

I always welcome this as well, although I'm failing to see how this is any different from downloading and racing a friend's time trial, like in Mario Kart Wii or Mirror's Edge. I do like the challenge notifications though, as they make it seem more competitive and personal.

@krynn: Valkyria Chronicles is actually very tame when compared to the cliches and trappings of other anime-inspired games. Like Archaotic said, he doesn't have it yet. I'd recommend waiting until more videos and reviews pop up on the web.

@okokoro: Perhaps the extra hours of bonus content in ME2 will be a hefty recap of the original.

@Kytano-Skorpius: I have the feeling there will be more info to come. Both games would fit easily on one Blu-Ray. It would be stupid if they didn't bother and just ported the sequel.

This is precisely why I miss Working Designs.

TP Shooter exclusive for the X360? Square-Enix is really branching out to Western markets now. Not only with publishing, but developing. I'm programmed to eye-roll at new shooters automatically, but SE may be able to breathe some life into the stagnant genre.

My personal favorite source of unlikely weaponry.

Before anyone asks, he got dim-dims from Yuri.

@stjberserker: Does the enhanced original actually make it worth playing? I've been tempted by the sequel, but had no intentions of trying the first again due to being bored out of my mind. Are the changes solely in combat, or is there now a reason to play single player?

If you want to make a grown man wet himself, post anything about Mirror's Edge 2 from Gamescon.
