Fatal Frame IV, Disgaea PSP, and the Gundemonium Collection.

@ataggata: That's going to be a hard sell for a lot of people. It's strange that Link is untouchable, but Other M is making Samus so young and vocal. It could be great, but voicing the main character has a tendency to kill franchises very quickly. Sorry Final Fantasy... I'm sure Cloud would have ruined everyone's

No complaints about lack of online multiplayer. Couch coop is the main selling point here.

I certainly have no problems with the fall lineup, or flow of new releases for the PSP. The time I spend mobile and PSP-armed is far less than the time I spend with consoles. I'll be happy with Tactics Ogre, Valkyria Chronicles II and Kingdom Hearts well in to next year.

@Treima: Out of all the me-bashing replies, this is the only one that makes sense to me. I've been using Windows, OS X and Linux simultaneously for years. If I have a problem in Linux, I can usually fix it myself without any trouble. With the others, I'm always at the mercy of hardware/software manufacturers.

My avatar can show you the way to a hassle-free and powerful computing environment. Unfortunately, you have to give up high-end PC gaming. As long as games are built for Windows (to a lesser extent Mac), utilizing a host of different proprietary systems and drivers, these problems will exist.

Completely agree about Mirror's Edge. I absolutely loved it, and thought the only flaw was that gun mechanics were included. Being shot at while running is great, but the player should never be able to interact with them... only run from them. That said, the story mode was only a tutorial anyway. Time trials

Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Come to just nothin'. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothin', and that's what they became.

@Marcem: I'm looking forward to that as well. If they can truly retain the things that made the original fun and focus on local multiplayer, that could also be a nostalgic blast.

The title should be "Split Screen Shooter." If you want to stand out in the crowd this generation, that's the best way to do it.

You can absolutely play games avidly for life. The addictive personality is what harms people's lifestyle and relationships, not the time demands of gaming. With self control and time management, you can continue to do anything your whole life, and not neglect your job/family/self. I now finish a 40 hour RPG in 2

A single player Starcraft spinoff for consoles could be great. I like strategy games, but don't care about multiplayer. GimGrimoire on the PS2 did this perfectly. It got around the lack of a mouse by pausing whenever you select something, so you could navigate the screen and menus. It wouldn't be anything like

@Evdor: He knows we envy him. His right eye pities us, while the offscreen eye is winking. A wink that says, "Yeah, these are jeans, and my shirt is untucked. I get payed to play Phantasy Star Online. Hang in there champ, one day you'll have the courage to be as awesome as me."

Mirror's Edge 2D while crying because I don't have a proper sequel.

Sigh... the very first corrections comment would have sufficed <

I would be lying if I said I've never played PSP on the beach.

@wompdevil: Agreed. They're scarce and usually shady, but when they have games like Alan Wake and Singularity for $35 at release, it sweetens the deal. If there aren't straight discounts, new releases usually have $20 gaming credit that print after the receipt.

I just don't understand Angry Birds. I'm completely bored after 2 stages. I've paid for a few games, but my down time in queue is still spent with Auditorium, Baron Red Elite, and occasionally Finger Physics. All free, and better than accidentally making eye contact with strangers at the dentist.

These reviews are a bit... misguided to say the least, but Kmart is really trying to revamp it's image for gamers. Although the new reviews are a horrible idea, they have been having some massive sales for new releases the last couple months. I just picked up Peace Walker for $19.99. New deals are posted at their
