I'm already more excited about the titles that will be retrofitted for 2D if 3D ever becomes standard. We'll see how I feel about it after I purchase my first 3D capable television in 2016.

I'll agree about the ridiculous preorder bonuses for 99% of new games. The other 1% are games published by Atlus. Since I preorder anything they publish anyway, bonuses are always a welcome addition.

I'm all for giving up on "Western" games. When you make games for a specific audience, mediocrity is what you're shooting for. When you focus on making games that are great, they'll find the audience on their own.
