Final Fantasy XIII is a great spectator game. In fact, I feel like a spectator when I'm the one playing.

This guy nailed it.

"Koticku's writers have already been reconditioned to enthusiastically anticipate our exciting line-up of licensed games,..."

@Michael Dukakis: ASCII you beat everyone to it yet again. You deserve 0 forgiveness, but I'll give you this 1. I wish I didn't have to spell it out for you.

@Michael Dukakis: As soon as I saw "Harakiri," I immediately knew that Dukakis would be leading the way.

Wow, there must be a lot of Apple haters on Kotaku for this to be posted. I do love the tag system though. My Kotaku bookmark has 9 /not:—/ tags and counting. Sorry all things sports, nsfw, and lady gaga...

@excaliburps: I'm the same. I enjoyed the first one, but I'm not into shooters. Bioshock and Dead Space both sold me on atmosphere and storytelling (less-so Bioshock... the tapes didn't work for me).

@Shrewsbury: You just said "Audiophile" and "Apple Lossless" in the same sentence. You know that anything ridden with enough DRM to play that file extension is going to sound terrible. I do, however, fully support vinyl to FLAC.

Do console war articles really generate enough page hits (revenue) to make up for the fact that the articles are pointless?

Read: DICE now has enough clout to finish production on the Mirror's Edge sequel that Relysis has been giddy about for over a year.

You know, Eric, if I may take off my acting pants for a moment and pull my analrapist stocking over my head, you may be suffering from what we in the soft-sciences call "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder", or the "The O.C. Disorder".

@skaven: Dead-pan expression.

@Guard: I didn't know about that. I thought Geohot was the only one making progress, and his "hack" won't even require other OS. I guess it would be a wise business decision to close that off then, given the vast amount of software pirates relative to Linux users. Still, I feel like people who use it are being

After the incredible mediocrity of FFXIII, I was just about to start Final Fantasy Tactics again when I saw this. Ogre Battle 64 is a fine substitute. Darn fine.

@Luke Plunkett: Baseless optimism, mixed with a bit of disbelief. I'm not sure I completely care yet, but I am concerned about what will be cut next.
