I’m not saying anything other than pointing out the original post, which I did not make, was a comment about C&C in general and not Houston C&C.

So you’re a fan of...

The glossy ones you showed get a nice grip on those cans! The non-glossy foam ones usually just takes a twist. Its not as pretty of an extraction as the thin sleeve one, but what do I care? That beer is toast anyways!

Yes, this! I grew up living on the lake, we had two kitchen drawers full of these. This is the classic original and still the best, but are getting hard to find.  Now, as a taxpaying adult, with a family of my own, I still have a drawer full of the soft “giveaway” koozies. I keep one in my pocket most all the time!

https://gunnerautoparts.com/ is a pretty friendly joint with decent prices, although they’re not reliably stocked with the elderly Swedes I’m generally looking for.

Pittsburgher. Jag as in ‘-off’

In addition to the other valid counter-arguments, you’re missing a big one: when you’re pulling into a parking spot you have much better situational awareness than when you’re leaving. You know what cars and people are in motion because you have better visibility and likely have been driving a bit through the lot.

but the extra effort it took to park in the first place makes that point completely moot

My trunk is in the front.  I need access to it to load my groceries.

I tried to carry on a chainsaw once- in my defense it was new in the box and unfueled- they made me check it- and it got added to the list of things at YYJ that are prohibited

They found Sex Objects? Well, David Tracy was in the yard, I know he makes the ladies swoon.

Let the record state that I wore pleated khakis even though I knew they wouldn’t show up in the picture.

(But thank you!)

You should get that checked out.

To be clear, I don’t want propriety information! I just want to learn how stuff works. I’ve added a line to the story to make that clear.

And I should mention, I’m not even a JEEP FAN! ;)

David,

Good to know you’re still with us, I’m still in the fight as well. April 1 of last year was when my tumor was found. Had a surgery, chemo, chemo + radiation, a fight with dehydration, a battle with pneumonia, then another surgery on Friday the 13th of December. Dehydrated again so going to the infusion center again

Thank you so much for saying this. I’ll miss you all so much.

Reggie, grats on beating it for now!
