I don’t ride much any more but I often wear headphones when I do. Never over-ear or in-canal ones, more like the standard Apple wired earbuds that allow external noise in.
I’m speechless, but with 36,895 comments, I haven’t always been speechless. This post is the best prize ever! Thanks so much, Andrew!
The thing my in laws told me had to do with breaking down and having to walk or something. I dunno, I never drove (far) without shoes somewhere in the car...
Wasn’t that the classic TSA case? The lady’s pasta sauce could go through the checkpoint WHILE STILL FROZEN but turned into a threat-to-the-realm once it melted?
Bring-A-Trailer is a wonderful place to see all sorts of exotic, unusual, rare, offbeat, bizarre, impossible to find, and otherwise drool-worthy machines. I’m on the site far too many times every day for sound mental health. It’s fantastic entertainment, like watching the Barrett-Jackson auctions.
Because sometimes I like to listen to things. You know, consensually.
Sorry, not us women who are bad at estimating. We know what 8 inches is...we just lie to you to make you feel better.
Someone in planning was lied to about how big 8" actually is.

Also, you know, turn on the indicator before you start braking, merging, turning, or whatever that requires a turn signal. It’s not helpful for you to turn it on mid-maneuver. I already know at that point.
Is this permanent or a temporary Kinja glitch?
Trains would make a lot of sense if America had better trains
The thing you need to understand about David is, he’s just... wired differently. He lives for these quests.

That trip you listed is a 213nm and should be about 1hr 45m in a 172. The benefit is not being beholden to an airline schedule, and no cavity search by…
You have to get a physical from a certified FAA medical examiner that is initially good for 5 years. It’s only good for 2 years if you’re over 40. Not sure if your medical insurer is going to cover that either. I knew a pilot in Alaska who failed to disclose a heart condition because he loved flying so much. They…
