I remember one of my first flights was flying back to the states for a visit on a 747 (HND>SFO) as a small child (either PanAm or United), at one point a flight attendant took me, my brother, and my sister upstairs to give my mom a bit respite.

If it’s your first rodeo, avoid single year models or models that lack parts support.

Your one friend, and one story is not germane to the larger discussion on the effective marginal tax rate of the higher earners, the aggregate Is what matters.

Seattle taxes, and regulates the number of floating homes and houseboats as part of the city’s master plan. There are other cities in the area that do not.

Just because it may be a floating home/house boat (they are not one in the same) doesn’t mean that they cannot be taxed as a home/residence. Many cities, Seattle for example, has included houseboats into their city masterplan and asses and tax them as the domiciles that they are.

It was a great way to fool the government into believing Chrysler met fleet wide efficiency because it is technically a small truck.

TourX owner as well, and I’ve found we smile/head nod/wave at other TourX owners; happened again yesterday on the interstate.

My two suggestions as well.

Congratulations to both of you, fir all you’ve done, shared, and inspired. Od Say I’d miss you both, but I’ll follow you both wherever you’re going, and I know where David lives.

25 years ago I worked as a valet, the 2 takeaways from that job was 1) a lot more people than you think drive drunk at 3 in the afternoon and 2) there are a tremendous amount of guns left under the drivers seats of parked cars.

My engine is currently out of my econoline because it needs a water pump.

In some markets carpet and cloth drapes MUST be professionally cleaned after each tenant. It’s a bio/health and safety issue.

I blew a water pump, the oil pressure sending unit needed replacing, and The power steering pump leaked as much as it held. All things being equal, it was easier to pull the motor than try to replace in-situ.

It comes right out the passenger door, trans gets dropped with a hoist (stupid easy).

Here is Bodie the Van before the operation started.

The 302 out of my Econoline is at King Machine getting some much needed R&R. While I’m waiting for that I’ve got the old windshield out, patching up some Iron Oxide Speed Holes, and repairing the steering system. Need it all back together by May.
