I've found the opposite to be true! In both Montreal and DC I was unable to make the rear wheel skid on dry pavement.

I have to think that with an e-bike share you'll have many more completely reckless riders. Sure, the assist might only work up to 15 mph or something like that, but now you have people getting up to that speed much more quickly and then being able to peddle up to even greater speeds. All with less than stellar brakes

You should be able to cover a *lot* of ground in thirty minutes on an e-bike.

Expensive? That's the same price as standard parking at our airport!

Sooooo white.

Saturated market? Do you know something no one else does?

Maybe this just makes me a soft old man, but at that price there is a handful of cars I'd prefer. Boxster S, F-type, C7 Stingray to name a few...

"The burned cars belonged to Iqbal's father, who runs a luxury car for hire firm. Iqbal is an employee there, which does not sound like a bad job at all."

If I did I'm sure they would be deceptive. ;-)

This sort of misinterpretation of data is completely endemic in our society. Almost every article or blog post I read contains at least one either intentionally or unintentionally misleading statistic. I'm not even remotely surprised by this particular case.

It happens every time people see something they can't afford on gizmodo. Yesterday there was that blurb on the architecture competition for "cheaper" homes. The article clearly stated that of course these homes aren't cheap, just cheaper compared to most homes that architects design, and yet almost every comment was

Well, in all fairness they finished off with "It's priced well enough that the business traveler can justify the expense over economy class...," which is a different story than "I'll fly this way on my own dime all the time."

In many cases, the alternative is no reply at all, and someone is stuck without the info they need. It's worth noting that my job doesn't actually require me to be on call, or available at all times, so any mobile response I send is generally a "favor" to the person I am responding to, as opposed to just replying when

They must have found a statistician from a sports broadcasting team... "well, Brady is 3 and 1 when up by 3 points when the temperature is between 47 and 49 degrees."

Haha I couldn't resist!

do you hand-crank your ICE? ;-)

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

exactly. He's careless, not reckless, and there actually is indeed a big differ, although the outcomes are often the same.

That was indeed rather long and very specific... Speaking from experience?

Hey, less drag means basically MOOARRR POWER! Our prayers have been answered!
