And in my experience neither does anyone else!

Maybe if the convertible didn't exist.. But it does.
I'm not talking about what the policy implies, I'm talking about whether or not I think it was malicious or just an oversight.
Yes, but jeep's potential customers can say the same thing to jeep.
This is a great guide, thank you. I do however take exception to the word "best," sometimes new versions are just minor updates, but sometimes they are vastly improved products. It's important to make sure that you're not getting something you won't be nearly as happy with in order to save a few bucks. And yes, I know…
So you think that air canada wrote this policy as a means to impose their opinions on their customers as opposed to someone just obliviously deciding that surnames are the best way to determine family relationships?
Well, to me it does make a difference. I'm not saying that he doesn't have a right to complain, but this blurb quoted some tweets making this out to be an equality issue as opposed to a poorly written policy.
This policy is stupid, but not nearly as annoying as all of the people making this out to be some statement on equality by air canada.
I think a much more reasonable approach is to slow down, turn on your hazards, then call the police and ask them if they have a car pulling you over.
Never mind.. Image upload isn't working.
I find summer tires way way better in good weather, and fantastic in the rain. But of course, to each their own, and I also have to drive in/on the snow quite a few times a year.
Yep! I'm only three chapters in. A lot of the content has been stuff I've already read about, but there's quite a few tidbits that I've found insightful, such as a few non obvious reasons why we get so frustrated by traffic jams.
I just started reading Traffic, and one point the author has made is that we view cars as an extension of our selves, while the passengers of course don't. That's why we have backseat drivers, they're able to remain much more neutral and not treat any road incident as a personal attack.
I've had pretty good luck with this. I think maybe the gap you're leaving isn't big enough. People jump in front of me, but it doesn't bother me none because they're far enough up that I can just slow down a little, and half the time they're so impatient that they've jumped out of the lane before I would even get…
Travis actually changed that bit to reflect the data another commenter presented, which I have to give him great credit for!
I know a bunch of people have already replied, but I drive in Boston as well, and have no trouble leaving a gap. If I leave a gap, some wanker cuts in front of me.. And it doesn't bother me none, because they roar up to tailgate the person in front of me and now my gap is almost the same size as it was.
Well, by easy to figure out, I mean for someone who's job it is to do so. :-P
Fuel efficiency costs more and more to achieve as you get closer to the current technological limitations. Inefficient vehicles cause more and more health and environmental issues as they get closer to 0 mpg, and those issues have costs associated with them. While I have absolutely no idea what the number is, it…
.. Until they have a robot that does all of that. What one of those things do you think it would be impossible for them to do? Sure, maybe not during your career, but soon enough.
Yes.. Which is exactly like every other vehicle on the road. Ever driven in Boston?
