All else equal, a bigger car being safer is indeed physics. Deciding to buy a bigger car for that reason is indeed "that logic."

Oh I know! I'm just saying that if everyone buys a larger car to be sager, we'll all be driving around in monster trucks before long. Which would be kinda cool...
I love that logic (I'm not calling out you). Oh, bigger cars are safer, I need to get a bigger car! Wait, he has a bigger car than me! Oh, I need to get an SUV so I can be safer in an accident with that big car! Wait, that guy has an SUV. Wouldn't I be safer if I got a bigger SUV?
Not only did she drive onto the path, she managed to crash that badly on it!?
I was a bit unfair to Mr. Orlove- my comment was directed at sentiments I've seen expressed here many times before by commenters, not specifically to this post.

But it is nimble, with high grip levels and great visibility. To most people its thin window pillars and frail styling make it look unsafe. As you can see from this video, car safety isn't just about how well a vehicle deforms when it hits something. It's also about preventing crashes from happening altogether.
If you have proper parallel parking for, you should only need to do one if any jiggles to get in and out. I'm not sure what an appropriate distance is, but I know it when I see it, and it's very clear when someone leaves more than everyone else.
Hahaha, I love how we all had the exact same comment. Sorry to barrage you!
Fellow massachusite here- sure, you're right, but is there a single road feature you don't ask that about? I guarantee that on my commute home today I will ask that about people using on-ramps, rotaries, red lights, and the "passing" lane.
I don't know. I see what you're saying, but there really aren't any other names making absolutely insane cars. If you want understated (sometimes) class, go to Ferrari, Aston, Jaguar, or a host of other marques.
This this this!
You win!
Do most bikes have cats? I was under the impression that the majority don't. This article has some pretty bleak facts about how much bikes pollute- they contribute 10% of the smog while only traveling 1% of the miles. The article is a little dated, but not by much. Sure, you can be selective about what you pick as…
Great news! That means that car accidents aren't a problem!
And much worse pollution! I don't know how this works out in developing countries, but you can't just ignore the fact that they also have much looser, if any, emissions regulations.
So do you actually think it was common sense that pollution kills more people? The numbers are actually pretty comparable... in order to state that this was an obvious fact, pollution would have to be killing like ten times as many more people.
Yeah, you can't just compare fuel economy. Bikes do pollute as much or more.
I'm always amazed by the level of autonomous car hate here. Less time spent commuting to work or doing menial errands, means more time for fun things, like driving on a track! Or a designated "leisure road."
