Again, wtf are you talking about? If he had slowed down to avoid having an accident in the first place, they would have driven by and he would have gone about his day. Instead he acted just like you claim you would, and ended up being pulled out of his car and severely beaten. Explain that one to your wife.

Tell that to the guy who just sold it for 100% profit!

What the hell are you talking about! He drove over one of them, his car vaulted into the air as he rode over their bikes. There was nothing timid about it. He only stopped when he couldn't get past traffic, which is a problem the bikes would never had. All of you seem so eager to make the exact mistake that he did,

Do you mean before or after the accident? There certainly would not have been a problem if he slowed down before the accident. They'd go around, just like they went around dozens of cars before.

I'm saying that as soon as the idiot pulled in front of me and held 3 feet from my bumper I would have slowed down until he was a safe distance away, and would have continued to drive slowly until they all passed me.

Yeah, and again, you'd end up unconscious and bleeding on the pavement. This isn't about what's right or wrong, it's about being pragmatic.

And then you'll end up on the sidewalk bleeding from your face, just like he did. Slowing down is the only smart thing to do.

Yeah.. That worked out great for lien. I'd much rather be him than any of the other motorists who just pulled over and then went about their day.

Exactly.. it's very hard to see what happens right after and what everyone's demeanor was like. But we do get into dangerous territory when we give someone cart-blanche because they "feel threatened"... that's why we have so many unarmed men being killed by police officers.

My opinion on this matter is entirely contingent on what we didn't see- right after the first incident. Did bikers approach the car menacingly, or were they just standing around after the accident?

Is this before or after your hit and run?

I am sure that living in places I've never been to could tip the scales in ways that I can't fully appreciate, but I still doubt that the risk of the robber is greater. I am curious as to what the systems would do if you were stopped and then stepped on it.

Internet expert to the rescue! He may have experience with what he talked about, but he doesn't know anything about this particular case. The same thing happens whenever an article covers a technical issue on giz. "what, nasa is having trouble with their ion thrusters? Why don't they just use more ions or something!

And you assess the risk of that happening as being higher than the risk of a pedestrian accidentally stepping in front of you or a car pulling in front of you?

I'm sure that porsche considers anything told to dealers to be not a secret anymore.. they might not be ready for the official launches, but you don't tell your dealers anything you'd mind a site like jalopnik knowing.

Why would turn it off?

Neutral: Would You Do Tracking-Based Insurance? How much would you have to save for it to be worth it?

I have got a few parking tickets in my time, and for all but one never got mad at anyone but me.

What a stupid test and article, unless the point was about levels of enforcement as opposed to the dangers of speeding.

An electric car is actually more efficient than a car powered by petroleum. Not sure if that accounts for the manufacturing cost of the batteries though.
