While it would frustrate me to know that my range is limited drastically by software, it would be cool to know that the car's predicted range would be dead on every time, and probably wouldn't decrease with age or extreme cold.

The other day I saw an elderly gentleman get in his car, and INSTANTLY slam on the gas and bounce off the rev limiter. This continued for a few seconds until he probably finally figured out why he couldn't get into drive, at which point he let off the throttle. It was terrifying.

Well, it's a matter of fact that Vettel is much faster in a time trial. Once Vettel had his ill-begotten pass, there was no hope for Webber.

Do the fins between the two exhaust tip pairs serve any purpose?

I knew I was mistaken as soon as I spoke — only siths speak in absolutes. However, in general they are fugly.

I agree, but, I am of the opinion that a coupe with the same body as the sedan is always hideous.

The engine braking can be nice, and is good to use in the snow,

If they're a deputy down south, they might brake for no reason...

At night I typically flash my high beams at about 200 yards out and it is highly effective. I won't tailgate because I'm not willing to put our safety and property on the line just because they are being inconsiderate.

Oh my goodness, fantastic post. You covered all of the angles, most importantly that Webber was only passed because he was obeying orders, and that the insubordination is the most alarming thing to the team.

I often keep distance so that I never have to stop, but usually I don't have too much trouble with people. If someone cuts in front of me, I still have plenty of space, and usually it's mere seconds before they see some other lane that is going faster for a moment and decide to jump into that.

There's a difference between ignoring a team order that tells you to take it easy, or not pass an opponent, and an order like the one Vettel got today.

I'm not entirely posed to this. It was a boneheaded move and unbecoming of an officer, but it wasn't something that is un-atoneable. I hope he returns to his job with an extra dose of maturity!

My point is that you complained about them posting this, but you clearly did other things before watching the race, so what does it matter that the race was at 4 am? Just so that Travis knows for the next race, what is your required time gap before we can get rid of spoiler alerts?

Is it racing when you're passing someone who has been told to stand down?

Hey remember the time they crashed each other out? Just because this worked out doesn't mean he made the right decision.

Did you write this comment at 4 am?

So did you read this while you weren't awake?

Travis, I think there's a bug in the commenting system. I keep seeing the same comments every week bitching about "spoilers."
