Fair enough! If someone parks like a douche, and you can do that without making contact, more power to ya.

Understood. Thanks for sharing! (Seriously)

Beautiful, but totally different animal.

Haha, precisely what I was thinking.

The cop is an idiot/jerk, but so is the cameraman.

Eh, I own an FR-S and I have to agree with the article. The exhaust note is okay, but it's just that, okay, when otherwise it's a great car. This isn't saying it has a terrible exhaust note, but that it isn't up to par with the rest of the car.

I think they should always be configurable. I don't think that there really is an "intuitive" option for this one, it's all how you think of it and what you've experienced. They could even make it one of those things that's really tricky to change, like having the key on accessories and tapping the shifter forward and

As in for fuel? I figure the extra dollar I pay a week for this maneuver is worth the decreased risk of an accident.

I usually lift off the throttle and just gradually slow down. Eventually (after an amazingly long time) they realize it and go around or drop back. Usually they don't tailgate me again. If they really piss me off I drop a gear or two and take off as soon as they go to pass, just until I catch up to the car I was

Yeah, I mean I don't know why we even bother with crash testing any cars. As long as you don't mess up, you'll never need to use any of the safety features, and if you do, it's your fault so we shouldn't worry about it.

Hmm.. if the toyobaru shooting brake had even a modicum of rear-seat space, I could upsize to that once my family outgrows the FR-S. ;)

Oh, certainly. I typically go about 80 (per speedo, so slightly less) in 55 mph zones, and have never been pulled over for it (crossing fingers). I'm also by no means the fastest one on the road. But I still don't like the idea of unrestricted roads anywhere near any cities, which is basically the entire east coast.

It would also suck because I think most accidents don't happen because of the power the car, they happen because of stupid people who would do stupid things in any car. A geo metro has more than enough power to cut people off, run red-lights or drive at dangerous speeds.

Then let's seize your car and sell it for scrap the next time you commit an offense?

Oh, I have no comment on his ego. I don't pay much attention to anything but trackside races and press conferences. Probably gives me a pretty filtered image of all drivers, but I'm okay with that.

What makes you say that? I don't understand that comment.

"...one’s single Formula One world title, in 2008, is the result of Toyota mistiming Timo Glock’s tire change."

The stupidest thing I've read in a while... at least today. A point in the final race is just as valuable as a point in the first race. You could point to any race in any season to claim that a close

That's enough, bloomberg.

That's when you move to the right, if you're smart.

The point is not going under the speed limit, the point is failure to keep right.
