Meh.. if I'm buying one of these, I can afford to replace the battery when it diminishes.

Exactly. They have so much amazing technology in this car, they're almost demeaning it by mentioning something so trivial for a hybrid.
That's what I've got.. I would have had to wait another month for blue, so I "settled" for the asphalt/ It's not as nice but looks fantastic in the sun. Although right now it's caked in salt!
Musk's data definitely spports that Broder's story is questionable, but the parking lot thing really iritates me. When you showed the map of that very reasonably trip around the lot to find the charger, that didn't align at all with driving around in circles trying to drain the battery. I've done drives like that many…
"Assuming.."
There's your problem. As it was modified for a handicapped driver, we know absolutely nothing about this car. Do you think that a problem that the police and renault techs couldn't solve in a hour was solved by you, mr. internet automotive detective?
My favorite is the blue, but the white is really striking in the sunlight, much nicer than 95% of other white's.
So this article was wrong? #corrections (?)
Sorry, I pulled the 250 number from the article for Model S's. Is that wrong? Or is the forum for both models? And I do agree tesla owners are more likely to post to a forum, but this is still clearly different than the hiccups experienced by the owners of other new cars. As it should be! What with a completely new…
Was this a joke? It's exactly opposite what the question was asking for.
I've had plenty of people mistake my FR-S for something much nicer, people don't recognize the scion logo. I had one guy very enthusiastically tell me he thought I was driving a ferarri. Obviously that's a bit extreme, but hey, this is what the question is about.
To put it less eloquently than you- 1,300 posts/250 owners averages out to over 5 posts per car on the road. With the fusion or corolla those numbers are probably much much less than 1 per owner.
On a related note: On a recent drive during a snowstorm in the Colorado Rockies, I was passed by a model S. Very cool to see it really being driven!
5 point racing harnesses and HANS. The restraints they wear don't allow their bodies to move at all, really.
eh, it's a butterface.
Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?
No, that's the exact opposite of the point. The idea is to get younger, lower income people hooked on the Mercedes brand before they become considerably affluent. It's a gateway vehicle.
So you would step in front of a truck that was only fractions of a second from liquefying you? Have fun with that!
"Vestigial back seat.." haha, I love it!
