You know what really grinds my gear? Talking about "getting mpg". From now on when you review a car can you guys please talk about how many mph's it gets?

What does it matter? And how does ANYONE get cash to have one, nevermind multiple exotics? Being that rich is not something you typically work up to over the course of a career.
I don't necessarily agree with this nomination, but one key distinction your critics are failing to make is that Porsche *actively decided* to call it the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe in English product literature. It's a marketing decision to do this, as opposed to translating it and putting a marketing spin on it…
I don't get the ho-hum. I've always viewed it as: if you have a given power, say 200 hp, I'd rather have a NA motor that outputs that as opposed to a FI engine. The spikey curve FI engines have (except of course for sports/supersports cars) is known to everyone who knows even a bit about engines. Where's the news…
But hey, doesn't that reflect what the government is doing with road cars? So F1 is just trying to stay ahead of the curve. ;)
Exactly. I can adjust the fan mode, speed and temperature all without looking, as well as adjust the radio to my heart's content without looking. With my mom's car's touch screen controls I can't do any of that.
Ah, makes sense, what a cool office in an awesome location. Thanks for the response, it's always nice to hear from the people making this stuff happen!
I noticed that too. I suspect that all of the features (sweet lounges, tool storage area, offices and whatnot) are defined by shipping containers, and the warehouse provides the actual shelter and utilities. That way you don't need to pay to modify some existing warehouse, instead you just need the floor space and…
I'm gonna have to put on my firesuit for this one, but...
You think deceiving drug testers doesn't take ingenuity? I'm not advocating it, but Armstrong and co. went to some ridiculous lengths to elude the officials.
No, it's a marketing ploy.
I have lived in and around Boston for the past several years, and I've gotta say, having a car has some massive benefits. During rush hour (you know, from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm) it can certainly be much easier and quicker to take the T. But at other times, driving absolutely can't be beat. I can cover in ten minutes what…
Possibly ignorant moment: are there any hybrids with standard transmissions? Is that even (reasonably possible)? I don't see how you would do that.
unheart.
That window by the C-pillar is MASSIVE.
The ICE is the complicated bit of a hybrid drivetrain. Electric motors are simple as can be!
First thought: Where is that tint legal??!
#10 should say "Ford has cleared this one up itself, but people keep passing on the ‘**any** color so long as it's black' myth decade after decade." instead of only.
Hey, I focused on those "other things" and now I have a car I absolutely love and easily afford. And now I can have my eyes on getting a second vehicle, for you know, extracurricular driving.
