Yep, which is the side the deep ref would have seen it from. Neither referee is in excellent position to make that call. Technically, the deep ref should have been closer to the play. The ref out of top will usually defer to the deep ref to make that call...

Growing up I would play Ministick hockey with my younger brother all the time. We would build a rink in my parent's living room. The last time we played was the day I went Al McInnis with a slapper and shattered the glass of the fireplace which was used as the goal.

Yeah, totally looks like girls on ice tries to kick one of the other players. In USA Hockey, that's a match penalty - suspended until a hearing is held. I doubt the dad really helped her cause.
