I assume there must be more to this story. It is well-known that athletes like to train at high altitudes because of the lower oxygen content, and there is evidence that at lower altitudes athletes have greater stamina. That would suggest your body doesn’t automatically reach 100% oxygen saturation from the air.

PlayStation 5 isn’t currently the platform that I associate with a satisfying online experience. If I wanted to raid in FFXIV, that’s what my gaming PC is for.

The art is clearly inspired by the concept art. But it’s also clearly been carefully redesigned. This probably falls under the banner of “Legally distinct pup-soldier.” It sucks, but in my mind a larger issue is that big publishers can literally copy an indie game wholesale, just changing the art, and that’s legal.

And that’s... exactly the point?

Having played through the game twice, I can attest to it being incredibly fun and 100% deserving of all the praise it gets. I can also attest to your second paragraph being utterly untrue.

Most PS5 games are smaller than their PS4 counterparts (thanks to new compression technology), so the problem is getting better, not worse.

SSD expansion on PS5 is incredibly simple. Is it easier on Xbox? Sure, but you’re also locked into whatever they give you, which right now is very limited and tops out at 2TB for $400. Whereas right now you can get 4TB PS5-compatible SSDs for around $500 or 2TB drives for under $200. You could literally pay someone to

Usually when a deal like this is announced, it drives the stock price up, and will often wind up higher than the bid. This has not happened in Activision’s case.

I think that Phil is far more hands off than on, for better and for worse. It allows developers to succeed on their own merits, but also to fail by the same. It’s still a bit early to really see his influence on games, but let’s not forget that the Halo Infinite debacle happened on his watch. That screams a team

You should probably read the history of the 1983 collapse. The closest thing we have to it today is the gargantuan amounts of shovelware on Steam.

Yep, the worst thing to happen to Final Fantasy was no longer having to compete with Dragon Quest. What geniuses approved that merger?

There has always been a back and forth between the two. I often found it weird when a big post was made about a game/series coming to Game Pass after it was already on PSNow. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What’s wrong with God of War?

And replacing it with forced meta integration!

With the $100 hike, the Quest 2 will still be the cheapest headset on the market

They each have their own unique quirks. For example, it takes longer for an Xbox Controller to communicate to the system and turn it on, whereas for PS4/PS5 controllers it’s virtually instantaneous.

COAs can be and have been re-issued. They are tied to a governing body, unlike NFTs.

That’s actually part of the problem. There’s zero guarantee that the item transfers with the NFT. So someone could swipe your NFT then create a fake knockoff of the original item. Because the item is physical but the receipt is digital, it’s significantly harder to maintain a chain of custody.

The biggest issue may be that the NFT is meant to represents ownership, whereas a CoA does not. If someone takes your CoA, it doesn’t mean they now own your item in any sense. But if someone takes your NFT, it now means they own your item despite not actually having it.

And if someone steals your NFT? What, they now get to come to your house and take your figure?
