I get his point, and accept it. He said he doesn’t understand the argument. I simply showed him the context in which it’s relevant. Continuously pointing out the context in which it isn’t relevant does not invalidate the context in which it is.
You were the one that brought up cost, not me. People don’t only complain about consoles because they don’t have one, they also complain because a game isn’t launching on their favorite console. That was my point, which I guess you missed?
Every character in FFIX dual-classes.
Even a bare minimum PC that could reliably play KH3 would cost at least $600, which is already two consoles.
That is not playable, it’s just a cinematic version.
Of course, that’s all relative. How much does it cost to have a computer that can run Cyberpunk? The recommended GFX card alone costs more than a console. So, sure, you’ve only paid once, but you’ve payed more than buying multiple consoles.
First, this is very silly. Plenty of games have connected stories between completely different genres. Or are you really going to attempt to say that Gears Tactics has no connection to Gears of War? Like a Dragon is telling a new story in a shared universe, which is incredibly common for different genres.
Well, 358/2 Days is missing, but that’s not available on anything other than DS. Not a great game, but the Tetris-style ability system was kinda neat. It was also perhaps the only game that just let you straight up dual wield keyblades.
And you can own more than one console....
Sure, and now where’s my turn-based Final Fantasy?
On one hand, using this tool means that any improvements to the animation that Epic makes will flow through to your game.
The real question: Did that hair collude with Russia??
A caveat of the BotW design is that the game needs be relatively sparse in order to pull off seamless world design like that. Mario Odyssey is far too filled to the brim in every square inch for the Switch to be capable of making it fully open world.
it feels similar to a reviewer complaining about a JRPG having turn-based combat or something

And Plunkett!
Ah, yeah, I forgot about Fahey!
