Yep. Final Fantasy VII refers to it as the “cross” button, and that game’s from 1997.

I always found it strange that they went with pink instead of yellow or orange.
PSNow and Game Pass can both be had for $60/year. Game Pass has more high-profile games, PSNow has a much deeper library (~800 games vs ~100)
Your suggestion is more confusing to me.
Also worth noting is that Sony just purchased the global license to Oodle Texture, so it’s possible that developers haven’t integrated that into their pipelines just yet.
Test 1: PS5 39% faster
My mother owns that exact bird shirt (she’s a fan of cardinals).
This sounds like a lot of changes I would enjoy. I just wish they had figured this all out a bit earlier so that I could have it paired with my favorite setting in Odyssey.

That definitely makes sense.
In many ways, Nintendo isn’t contributing a lot to the industry. I’d say that generally speaking, Nintendo games are largely stuck in 90s. But nobody gives them flak for that, so they have no real reason to improve on that front.
As a note, remember that the PS5 SSD is twice as fast as the Series X|S. Prices should not be “about the same,” they should be far cheaper for Series X|S.
Wait, I thought PS5 was effectively confirmed to support 1440p?
