What years did you live there? I was there 2004-2011. I hate every single place you mentioned with the exception of Five Star Day (RIP) and Walker’s (but only for coffee). I was more of a Engine Room (or Room 13) / Lunch Paper / Flicker Theatre / Manhattan / Go Bar kinda gal.

The bars around it were the worst too. [Athens is] always filled with frat boy assholes with boat shoes and pastel shorts with like whales and shit all over them. The fucking worst.

I don’t even hang out on Washington Street / Pulaski area anymore when I go visit. I hang out in Normaltown, away from downtown, unless I want to go to the 40 Watt or Flicker or Caledonia Lounge or Manhattan or Little Kings or World Famous.
