Never said it wasn't.
Never said it wasn't.
It sure is.
Nah, I'm pretty sure it has to do with either branding and marketing or both.
You inability to detect obvious satire makes you an ignorant fuck. Please find a small, dark corner and keep to yourself.
The devs have stated that they do not want the Titans being referred to as mechs and that mechs is a dirty word around the office. This, despite the game CLEARLY containing having mechs. I can't think of many reasons to not refer to mechs as mechs other than a marketing ploy to distance the game from the stigma of a…
The game has mechs and all mech games are lame because lol JRPGs and anime sucks.
I'm glad it's not just me, then.
Dude, between this and X I'd gladly buy a Wii U. Nintendo has my praise for supporting an awesome IP (and hopefully an awesome game) no one else wanted to deal with.
I'm starting to think that the term "Nice Guy" has started to take on a life all of it's own. It's almost becoming a derogatory slur for young men with mild Autism, Asperger's or Social Anxiety and a means to paint all of them as some comic-book-super-villain-mastermind simply because they lack not only social skills…
8 out of 10? Really? That's an incredibly pessimistic out look.
Yeah and if you can tell that the guy is bad a socializing and isn't picking up on the cues and you still refuse to be direct and honest you should not be surprised if things become heated or dramatic. It's like getting pissed that you can't order a Big Mac because the person at the drive-thru speaks very poor English…
When you can basically say something to the effect of "When men are socially awkward or overly subtle they're losers or down right malicious but women are socially awkward and overly subtle because they're raised that way" you're putting down both parties seriously hard.
If they don't take the news well then that's on them. Being honest and upfront is always the best way to go. Always. The better if you're polite about it. Even if you don't know how people will react you should always strive to be honest and polite about what you're looking for. That's not to say that if the guy is…
Yeah, see, the other thing about living in the real world is that both sides can alter how they act and react in rel time. If the guy isn't getting the "hints" and the girl picks up on that and refuses to be blunt (not necessarily rude, just honest and to the point) then while it doesn't excuse the guy for having poor…
I love how every single portrayal of this "nice guy" concept is of some willfully, malicious and devious monster who are out to trade enjoyable afternoons and friendliness for sex, or something.
Cool. How about slapping together a game with them Project Sylpheed looking, R-Type meets Vic Viper hybrid space fighters? Didn't you hear? The death of Space Fighter games has been greatly exaggerated so maybe hop on that train while it's still picking up steam and try to make a half way decent console star fighter…
The worst part of the advice I get is that half of what everyone says is in direct conflict with the other half of the advice that very same person gave me in the previous breath. I can't tell if they're just mindlessly parroting empty words they've heard other's bark before them or if they legitimately mean to…
Yeah now we give passes to our own, domestic titles. All of the negatives listed in the review box describe Mass Effect and Dragnons Age to the T. But those games are the best games ever because they are while Final Fantasy is just a has-been JRPG.
But who will be behind the door? God? The Devil? No one? Everyone? Will there actually be anything at all or will there be nothing? If it's nothing, will it be a nothing we can quantify or even less than that?
I don't think I can fully relate, as a white male, but I do find myself in a similar predicament.
