Wonderful. No doubt we'll continue to see an endless slew of wholesome child friendly lego Star Wars titles, though. Fuck you Disney.

A lot of the ships they're breaking up remind me of Homeworld ships. I wonder if that's intentional or a byproduct of having the same art director....

They do it a hell of a lot more than the average AAA titles from EA or Activision. EA would never dream of making a game like Skyward Sword especially if it meant "wasting money" on developing motion controls. But aside from their own in house works since the Game Cube Nintendo's systems have attracted numerous

This is what gets me. The Frostbite 3 enginecan't run on the Wii U because of some funky what ever the fuck but they got it to run on the PS3's P-sychotic architecture. Now we're hearing that the Unreal Engine, which can run on smart phones, won't work on the Wii U. I call bull shit.

To think there are Star Trek fans who have no idea who Shatner is, have no desire to know who he is and would fall into a moral induced coma if they watched ANY of the older Star trek shows, from TOS to Enterprise.

One of the biggest problems with Japanese games in the west is the lack of marketing.

Um.... no actually those answers are pretty valid and they are all pieced together directly from the character's actions or by taking the story's setting into account. Part of any characters analysis is piecing together clues from the character's portrayal and the story's setting.

Yeah well you're wrong. Saying you like or dislike a character is still all up to opinion but Cloud was no more fleshed out than Lightning. Less fleshed out? Maybe not. But he certifiably wasn't more fleshed out. I don't feel Cloud is any more justified at being a prick to his party-mates than Lighting was at the

Oh but to answer some of your questions:

I'm sorry but you lost me at "Cloud is developed". I mean, I read what you posted and you bring up some nice differences in opinion and all but....... for real?

Do not confuse poor story telling with character analysis. While traditionally both overlap in conventional story telling they are not wholly one and the same and in theater, cinema and visual interactive media the way in which a character is portrayed can be very much distanced from the actual story telling.

To summarize every 3rd argument I've heard against Lightning:

We actually do.

I love that on top of being a bad ass who's also a woman that she's also still a woman. By that I mean she still still maintains positive feminine qualities, such as her material instincts.

I actually like her. She's not your typical anime trope gal nor is she some moe trash.

What Morwath said.

Looks like the difference is...

Have you ever considered they appoint critics they know will or will not favor a game based on something other than random chance?

Awesome. Now I can use smithing to help level some of my other skills!

Section 8 got the whole "score streak" thing right. It rewards minimal points for kills while giving lots of points for captures, assists and other objectives. Likewise the large pool of team points you need to deplete before winning helps to reinforce the notion that you can't quickly or easily win the game on kills
