I love your Destiny stuff, Jason, but would just like to point out that r/DestinytheGame is a notoriously whiny and entitled sub, even for gaming, and does not necessarily reflect the sentiment of the majority of the people who play.

As a someone who mainly enjoys PvP, I do feel like we get neglected. Even in this article, Jason refers to Whisper as one of the most critical guns in the game, when what he means is the PvE game. There are a lot of PvP people out there! We matter!
Oh most definitely.
“I just don’t have the words anymore.”
We did in fact re-up on the contract by ritualistically sacrificing Bobby Valentine in late 2012.
This thread is the best thing happening on Splinter today. Thank you for this gift.
Accepting the word of LARRY FUCKING KUDLOW as ironclad proof of something is a little bizarre from Splinter!
As a guy who does follow Star Wars, I would categorize this more as, “just a fun thing some people did.”
Absolutely a legitimate question, I just think it’s among many. I’m a very literal person.
But... why is this is the only question we should ask?
Craft beer is kind of like Rick and Morty. The thing itself is great, while the culture and fandom surrounding it sucks major ass.
This reminds me of the argument that “actually, Ted Cruz was right to call it the ‘basketball ring’ because the original rules of basketball refer to it that way.”
I’ve been lurking on Splinter for years and Baracka is the weirdest thing I’ve seen here. The other day he raged at someone for being a no-effort non-contributor, despite the fact that he breathlessly posts the exact same comment on every single article.
Nor is Jeffrey Epstein, a guy so utterly repulsive both the right and the left want him in jail.
Well at least Jared from Subway is in jail

Could go one of two ways: either the younger kid is a world-beater who didn’t need the help, or the older kid is just the favorite.
Do people say that because they’re worried that if they apologize to someone who was not offended, it will offend them? Because in that case the initial apology would go effective.
I know this is not what you, specifically, are doing here, but it always irks me how every time someone brings up Trump/Epstein, Clinton is brought up as some kind of “gotcha,” as though we’re all going to be like, “oh no, I didn’t know—in that case don’t investigate this!” The vast majority of us just want justice…
This was my thought as well. Having this kind of lame, thought-free exchange is one thing, but openly bragging about it?? If I were to shit my pants in the comfort of my own home, I wouldn’t post an insta-story letting everyone know unless I was a Don Jr.-level glutton for embarrassment.
