LOL @ “unique” keys. I’ve had GM and Chrysler keys that I could use to unlock and drive friends and family cars of the same model.

They were made of metal, were unique, and they worked wonderfully.”

1) lots of people think their dogs are well-trained and well-behaved, but that does not mean that they actually are, or that they will remain so in a stressful situation surrounded by lots of people.
2) emotional support dogs are supposed to be a way for people dealing with anxiety and other disorders to function

I like how Iridium accused ESA of being a drama queen.

That’s pretty messed up. If the economic viability of living in an area prone to fires depends on keeping a large enough population of imprisoned people to coerce them into dangerous work at low pay, then you really have to evaluate the whole enterprise. It’s like saying “mining coal is so much more expensive now that

Please don’t encourage anyone to get pets that aren’t emotional support animals certified as such.

Because its a large animal that can be a danger to other humans under stress. A support german sheppard ripped a black man’s face off on a Delta flight and it was on the news for 2 seconds. You don’t know how a dog is going to react on a flight even in a chair in close proximity to another person. I had a dog for 18

children and babies aren't capable of biting/mauling other passengers. everyone thinks their dog is "well-behaved", but few are well-trained.

;(

No, please don’t do this. First, the animal isn’t actually a support dog, and getting animals “certified” just so they can fly in the cabin has helped spur all kinds of backlash against people who legitimately rely on service animals. Second, a beagle relieving itself on a seat in the same cabin as other people is

Care to cite where it was reported that she paid for TWO first class seats?

Why the woman? The victim said the woman had no issue changing seats, and went up to go look. They were about to solve it easy peasy until the flight crew got involved.

She didn’t buy a seat for a plane. First class is a 2-2 configuration. If she bought both seats - the guy wouldn’t be next to the dog. She bought one seat, and had her dog on her lap - and he was sitting next to her.

Perhaps. It doesn’t say. It does say that she was willing to change seats and even found someone willing to swap, so they could all have remained in first class.

The woman was looking for another passenger to trade seats with. She bears no blame in this.

support animals are not given the same protections as servive animals (dogs trained to perform specific tasks) by the ADA.

Two is greater than one? Get out...I don’t believe it (again, sarcasm). They could’ve moved folks around in the first-class cabin or offered him another first-class ticket that he could use at a later time. But here’s the thing, the fact she has to travel with a service animal is no one’s issue but hers; why should

Yeah, seems like it was all being handled until the captain stepped in and showed his entire ass. How gross and abusive. I hope he gets all of the money in court.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT SERVICE ANIMALS AND ARE NOT PROTECTED BY THE ADA.
