I am Canadian of Nordic/European descent, and I have a very poor tolerance for heat. I remember driving through Omak WA when it hit 109°. A few years back I flew home from Cancun and I stepped off the plane wearing a t-shirt and it was only 3°C (37°F) and I felt so relieved.

78 degrees is not an unreasonable temperature. 70-72, in a near-desert region of the world, where triple-digit external temperatures is pretty normal, however, *IS* unreasonable.
