Hey, if broadcast engineer Jeff Goldblum can hack a swarm of UFOs with a PowerBook...

I am Canadian of Nordic/European descent, and I have a very poor tolerance for heat. I remember driving through Omak WA when it hit 109°. A few years back I flew home from Cancun and I stepped off the plane wearing a t-shirt and it was only 3°C (37°F) and I felt so relieved.

With the current housing boom and house values doubling and tripling, I'm sure these people would be fine with their property taxes also doubling or tripling...

The golf course I previously worked at had a pump house that upgraded from one 10HP booster pump to three, which necessitated an upgrade from a 60A service to 200A. Electric company was involved due to the need to replace several hundred feet of buried cable that fed into the meter.

I've seen SDSL modems that bragged about being able to connect over a couple thousand feet of barbed-wire fence.

My wife (a nurse) didn’t believe the 10 year thing.

Funny thing is there were mask mandates back in 1918. Wearing a mask was seen as a civic duty. There were anti-mask groups then too, but they were considerably more civil than their modern counterparts.

I’m leaning more towards Jake Busey...

You’re neglecting the 3rd dimension... NYC has over 7000 high-rise buildings. How many in Sturgis?

Never realized they had a pool...

... or roofers, pilots, garbage collectors, ironworkers, linemen, truck drivers, or construction laborers (all statistically more dangerous than being a police officer)

Fill it full of water then freeze it.
