I know it’s a Sony film, but it sure would be nice if Disney’s lawyers moved with this type of haste on the Punisher logo being appropriated by law enforcement.

Unabashed racism is horrible enough on it’s own, but when you add “HOA President” into the mix, that’s a different level of awful.

Also, thank God Mr. Miller got out of there safely.

You’re no fun.

So...even me as a crusty old white guy who is quick to think people get offended too easily was disgusted by this. Maybe Okoye isn’t as well known in the comics, but Gurira’s fantastic portrayal of her in Black Panther and Avengers made her pretty damn popular...oh yeah, and SHE’S FREAKING MICHONNE ON WALKING DEAD.

You articulated why I stopped watching Luke Cage is Season 1 better than I could. Cottonmouth was a fantastic villain, right up there with Kill Monger and Dark Knight’s Joker. Diamondback, however, was a jarring drop in quality that never made the show feel as compelling as it first did (for me, at least).

Can’t believe you made me laugh/smile through all of this shit. Thank you for the short break from crying.

Pump up the jams, indeed...

“Actually, most of us don’t do those bad things you think we all do.”

That’s the part that (even as a white person) really bugged me. I’m a teacher. I see excellence from my black students every day.

Another whitey perspective that might not be as popular: Yes, the “listen to both sides” thing is not only stupid, but

Something else people in Harlem don’t want to hear, though? Mackenzie’s bullshit.

That’s because they’re all going to be managers one day too, dontcha know?

Not sure why a guy shaving his beard deserves a headline.

Kentucky fans (myself included) are going to go through the roof when they hear about this.

It just would have fit with my preconceived narrative of the man so much better if he was homophobic.

Damn this article for making me feel something besides anger and revulsion for Coach K. Damn it to hell.

Uh oh! Time for folks to get angry at ASOIAF fans for being “ungrateful” that a book from an author—who they’ve given millions of dollars—is delayed yet again.

Look, there’s no doubt GRRM is a fantastic writer (in my opinion, at least). But if he needed the money from this book to eat or have a roof over his head, it

I thought this guy died on the last season of X-Files.

I’ve been waiting for the glorious day when Grayson Allen trips someone who had already committed to a flop.

This doesn’t feel like that moment, but it’s still an enticing preview.

Exactly. It’s the fact he made this about race. If he’d made this about exceptionally poor customer service (which is definitely possible from airport eateries), then it wouldn’t look so ridiculous. Even as a “white boy” myself, that label wouldn’t offend me anywhere near as much as my order being rung up/charged

I want to disagree with you, but you made too much sense.
