The Breach isn’t based of The Troop — it’s based off an Audible-only novel by Nick Cutter of the same name (and is supposedly pretty good).

The Troop is one of my all-time favorites though. Really hope it’s adapted for film or television one day.

Remember, if any of you dare to make a comment about who he hasn’t delivered a product that was promised to multiple business partners, vendors, and countless fans who have supported him, then you’re a monster.

I know it’s a Sony film, but it sure would be nice if Disney’s lawyers moved with this type of haste on the Punisher logo being appropriated by law enforcement.

Sean Hannity wears a damn bootleg (i.e. unlicensed) Punisher pin on his broadcast every night. Mr. Law & Order should have no problem complying with a request from Disney not to wear apparel that adapts their ip without permission.

Yet another chance for my theory about Gale Weathers becoming one of the Scream killers to come to fruition.

Unabashed racism is horrible enough on it’s own, but when you add “HOA President” into the mix, that’s a different level of awful.

Also, thank God Mr. Miller got out of there safely.

Nice to finally see another good article on this written by someone who clearly likes/understands the source material and not a pop culture content intern desperately copy-pasting Wookieepedia article.

That said, mine still featured pictures and videos ;) (But I like your explanation better)

Love this episode, but a couple things are still bugging me:

If you don’t mind indulging some self promotion, I went off a bit myself on this episode (and its painfully stupid twist), as well.

Also worth mentioning--there’s no way he would have seen Lydia and been cool with it.

You’re no fun.

Just a quick reminder that NONE of you get to criticize him at all for not having the book completed. Once you reach the level of status and celebrity that GRRM has attained, you are allowed flake on the repeated pledges you’ve made to your agents, book publisher, and fans without rebuke.

Anyone who dares to fault him

NO! How dare you criticize GRRM for not being professional. Once you attain a certain level of success and celebrity, you are absolutely allowed to flake out on obligations and deadlines without any rebuke. Furthermore, those who do rebuke you are will be chastised as entitled whiners.

So...even me as a crusty old white guy who is quick to think people get offended too easily was disgusted by this. Maybe Okoye isn’t as well known in the comics, but Gurira’s fantastic portrayal of her in Black Panther and Avengers made her pretty damn popular...oh yeah, and SHE’S FREAKING MICHONNE ON WALKING DEAD.

Leav

Definitely should not have watched that alone at 1:30 AM

NO! None of you DARE criticize George RR Martin for not finishing the book series he started and that his fans bought with the expectation it would have a conclusion. Just like the rest of us, when Martin doesn’t feel up to finishing his job, that’s totally his prerogative and should be fully supported by everyone.

You articulated why I stopped watching Luke Cage is Season 1 better than I could. Cottonmouth was a fantastic villain, right up there with Kill Monger and Dark Knight’s Joker. Diamondback, however, was a jarring drop in quality that never made the show feel as compelling as it first did (for me, at least).

Yep, how dare the fans who made him rich get frustrated when he continually doesn’t do a job he promised.

Yeah, but it sounds super cool and edgy to be cynical/dismissive about it.
