Yeah. I feel really old and really Black right now.

The fact that patriarchy impacts men in some negative ways doesn't make it not exist.

It's a grapefruit flavored sports drink. Like Gatorade, but tasty.

Driving through Wyoming a few weeks ago, turned on the radio just long enough to hear someone sing something about a "big green tractor", and had to shut it off. Just... no.

Making gamers and geeks seem even more like a bunch of gross misogynistic MRA dude's than they already are, is not helping.

Gotta think that most husbands have probably seen more women's genitals up close and personal than most wives have. Shouldn't be a surprise that they're familiar with the diversity.

You think that kid isn't afraid her dad might be deported without any intervention from 'activists'? Or do you merely object to her hoping to do something about it?

That's a nice theory that is never borne out in practice. Trolls keep right on trolling after sites switch to facebook comments. Oftentimes with fake facebook accounts. Meanwhile, their victims either end up being exposed and abused, or avoiding comments altogether out of fear.

Using real identities online doesn't stop trolls. It does however endanger people IRL, especially women, minorities, LGBT people, etc. by exposing their real identities to the internet.

Female game devs whose real names and faces and addresses/workplaces are known, getting hundreds or thousands of rape and murder threats, isn't the same as that time a kid yelled at you on Xbox after you won a game.

Who's gonna be the first parent to bring back the bundling board?

I'm dismissing your argument because you're blaming a woman for months of horrifying attacks directed at her.

A huge neck beard and a fedora.

So basically she should have walled herself off in some feminist ghetto, carefully avoiding interactions with any males who might find her criticisms of gaming objectionable?

While I'd love to think they'll be publishing a feminist critique of Sarkeesian's work, I somehow doubt that's where they're going with this.

I didn't misread anything, I'm just aware of more than this one post. Totilo previously said they hadn't given Sarkeesian's critics enough of a chance to respond (after the comments sections here went crazy with complaints about 'favoritism' and 'one-sidedness' due to them posting one of her videos), and this seems

I'm not talking about the satire, I'm talking about the announcement that Kotaku's head would be publishing a hit-piece on Anita Sarkeesian any day now.

It's neither. It's me pointing out that you're blaming her for enduring countless months of horrifying abuse and threats instead of the people responsible.

So what you're saying is that she asked for it?

I'm glad people use the phrase. It's a dead give away of what sort of person they are.
