Wait, is your argument seriously that he isn’t qualified to correct others’ mistakes if he himself makes mistakes? You forgot the apostrophe in “someone’s” to make it possessive rather than plural. So I guess your comment is invalid now too. So is everyone else’s comments (including mine) because it turns out we all

Would you care to share the issue?

Tell me you haven’t played a FromSoft game without telling me that

I love it when we get to the “I wish people would play video games the RIGHT way, like I do!” argument.

Or, and this might come as a shock, this is exactly the product Bethesda intended to create. That you don’t like it doesn’t change that.

I mean, the earliest description of Starfield was “Skyrim in space.”  Everything I’ve read about the game sounds like it’s literally Skyrim with a space skin.  If you were expecting something else, that’s on you.

Citation and evidence please. I’ve spent most of my time exploring planets and random systems and being surprised.

The “consent be damned” implies that he ignores you when you say no.

Hey uh, maybe don’t bring up real life examples of sexual harassment because a fictional dude flirted with you in a video game?

Idk as someone who has been married for a number of years the idea that sex is somehow the endpoint of a relationship that needs to be built to is really weird, and I wish more games would do away with that. Like, a functioning relationship is an equilibrium where not too much happens.

In case you weren’t sure, your comments are, by definition, delusional

Enjoy being absolutely unhinged, I guess. At least, that’s how it seems to some. But, you know.

...What new model of Russian troll farmer are you? This is fascinating.

this is a nuts take. you’re inserting your own manufactured outrage where it has no business. You’re literally equating being DTF with harassment or worse. That’s absolute nonsense.

“consent be damned” is a *really* weird thing to have imagined and added in there yourself.

You have to work really hard to make it an allusion to capitalism, while it’s pretty easy to read it as fascism. If you have to work that hard to make it mean something, it’s probably intended to be something else.

I wondered if someone would respond with the “discouraging behaviour” angle.

Yeah everyone was pretty much just a very small view of what they were like as a person, and then you don’t spend much time with them. Cid is really the only character who feels like a really engaging part member, and I wish they’d kept that level of engagement going. Everyone else, except maybe Gav and Byron, was

describe Jill on the most recent episode of Triple Click podcast as: “She could’ve been replaced with a shiny crystal dispensing Shiva powers and nothing would change” and he’s not wrong.

Anytime someone compares this game to Drakengard, I can only assume they’ve never played a Drakengard. The defining aspects of rakengard aren’t “dark and gritty fantasy,” there’s a clarity of purpose and strong sense of humor that I haven’t seen from anything FFXVI is putting out.
