He raised a ton of money for the Nikola Tesla museum. Dude has quite the hard on for anything related to Tesla so I wasn't that surprised when I saw he had the car.

This tire looks to be a little too stiff/old for the technique to work.
I so hope you're joking but fear that you probably are 100% serious. You really should read the article that Popular Mechanics did on this project. It. Is. Nuts. Not only do they go (faster than) 1000MPH but they have to turn around and do it again on the return trip for it to actually count as a record. All within…

This to me is like the people who wait until after their lane has ended to merge over. Like, "hmmm... maybe the lane ends somewhere different than it did yesterday..."
Ah yes, the slowing down for a hill thing too, never got that. Of course your situation sounds... terrifying if at all true
OMG! This makes me so mad! As a person and a trucking insurance adjuster. Why in the hell do people seem to instinctively slow down when they start passing a truck that could crush their car without knowing it or blow a tire with no warning? Wouldn't you want to spend as little time as possible next to these things?
How freaking good is the Patty Melt?!!?!?!??! I've literally seen a person's mind explode when they took their first bite.
Wendy's is very good but you couldn't be more wrong about the ketchup argument. Heinz 57 is ok compared to the nectar that is Whataburger ketchup and Whataburger spicy ketchup.
You got Dallas and Houston wrong but otherwise, spot on.
Didn't they end up using the Hennessy Corvette in the most recent round of testing?
Just one person so far that I'm aware of. Apparently they made a website for the project.
That was definitely the part that made my jaw hit the floor.
I'm sad that it took this long for a brown diesel AWD manual wagon to get suggested.
99.99% of the time I disagree that removing pillars and adding weight to a car makes it better but in the case of the Challenger... huge blind spots and surprisingly light feeling in the rear end it could actually help.
Isn't that how CNC always goes? Either that or one of your dream cars shows up twenty minutes after you leave
I would argue that since you can fit 8 or 9 people in here and all of their worldly possessions it isn't that inefficient. Sure, no one does that, but you could and that's what it was made for.
