@Faintdreams: Miley Cyrus as Buffy, a Jonas brother as Angel, and Zac Ephron as Giles. (Because Zac is, like, totally old!)

@Arken: Filthy oxygen-producing organisms.
@DisturbingClown: Why, thanks! That would've been a catchy tune, no?
@reptoidsrock: What's a rogue demon?
@darkvstar857: There was torture porn and dominatrix stuff? I obviously quit watching too soon.
@MrGOH: I agree. I appreciate what we're being given, but only six? Whiiiiiine!
@Charlie Jane Anders: Never underestimate the power of irked book lovers!
@NerD:blogOtaku: I only made it through two or so, so I'm not the best person to judge, actually!
@Charlie Jane Anders: Huh. I had no idea people were so tolerant and/or fond of it! I didn't give it very many episodes before drifting away, so I may not be the best critic.
How about "Legend of the Seeker"? I haven't read the books, but my husband has, and he was disappointed. I was so bored by the show that my brain shut down, prohibiting me from forming any opinions at all.
@Craig Michael Ranapia: True. Who among us can be certain how we'd react to losing a loved one during the zombie uprising?
@reed: Seriously. You don't have spay paint somewhere? Lipstick? Catsup?
@Belabras: I suggest kicking the dead guy out the bottom hole. You'll sleep better tonight.
@brentbent)dense as a neutron star and bright as a super nova(: I like the "y" approach. I also think responding to things with "ish" is perfectly acceptable. "So are you done yet?" "Eh, ish."
Super cool! I love people who pick a tattoo theme, and see it aaaaaalllll the way through like this. I've never been bold enough to get one, so I admire the commitment in others.
All those seasons of "Project Runway" have obviously not taught me everything I need to appreciate haute couture.
@RalOberon: Eh, you see a fair number of novels "based on the movie." Of course, these "novels" are to be avoided at all costs, but it does happen. I have more optimism about a novelization such as this, though, since Kirkman already knows how to tell a good story.
@ithyphallus, 13382: I hope that doesn't happen, inasmuch as it might delay the premiere of the show. But it's nice to know that most io9ers, like me, will be ready when that day comes.
My sister lives in Utah. I'm putting her on alert that she needs to find out when and where and BE THERE.
@Daumier: I feel the same way. Refreshing my memory would be great, but they are total doorstops, and there are so many other potentially great books that I haven't read yet ...
