@mkirkland: Oh, they definitely were too small. Still, I'd probably be leery around any animal in that scenario, regardless of size.

If you've read "Feed," you know zombified animals are nothing to scoff at. So be careful around the zombie squirrels.

@LFCD: Kuwait may be better, but from what I read, it's still not stellar in its treatment of women.

@DocProf: My thoughts exactly, particularly regarding Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. I cannot fathom any woman choosing to live someplace with that type of human rights record.

@Alizarin: I strongly prefer the original team, too. The Mickey-less season was OK, with without Stacey and Danny ... man, I don't know.

@Annalee Newitz: I think naughty military scientists plus Adam Scott sound like fine Friday night entertainment. Actually, take away the scientists, and Adam Scott plus 3D piranhas still doesn't sound too shabby.

I've been having a hard time articulating to my husband why I kind of want to see the new one. Think I can use the military science argument?

@Drummertist v.2: I so agree! There's sometimes a tendency to think of the past as a staid, static place. Say what you will about the color choices, but this would make for a vibrant cityscape. I think it's incredibly cool.

@jay13x: I teach journalism, and I should get you to be an online guest speaker in my classes when we cover reporting on health! It's tough because reporters aren't trained in the medical field and therefore aren't experts, which leads to shoddy coverage. The good ones will do research and try to stay up on the field,
