@jay13x: I eagerly read the comments here, hoping some io9ers would have expertise that might make me feel a little less bleak about our super bug-riddled future. Thank you for supplying that! :)
@The Standard Deviant: I miss Sealab!
@catsmasher: I don't think she's advocating shutting down all farms. I'd love to see a resurgence of smaller, family-owned farms that could provide consumers with locally produced foods. I'm sure that won't work in every community and every situation, but a return to a local emphasis where possible would be a good…
@bawheid: But if you're lucky, someone will lovingly place your goo puddle into a tasteful crystal candy dish.
@Mad_Mulatto: I loved that you could tell the anchor was seeing something happening off screen just moments before the de-spinening. I would not ever have guessed what it actually turned out to be!

@Too.Tired.To.Sleep: That's hilarious! I'd now like to get the phrase "Dago-booyah" to catch on at home and at work.
One of my favorite things about my cats is the way they rotate their ears like independent satellites. It looks like these guys have twice the ear rotation power.
@ManchuCandidate: The building will be called The Quatro, obviously.
@Charlie Jane Anders: Oops! Glad I read that, as I was ready to post some spoilery things in response to siczar's post ...
@Snow leopard: It sounds magical ...
@The Captain: Soundtrack by Justin Bieber.
