@kleer001: Ah, OK. I just thought I'd point you to some of the genre leaders so you could better critique your writing partner's work. My misunderstanding.

@kleer001: Yeah ... most romance novels have plot.

@kleer001: Is it a contemporary romance novel, or a historical one? I can't think of any sci-fi/pulp-centric novels off the top of my head, but I can recommend a few that are considered top-quality examples of the genre that might ease you in.

Robert Rodriguez? "Zombieland" people? Ryan Reynold? I'm overwhelmed at the potential awesomeness of that.

@Makidian: I assume the TNT reruns would eat into the DVD purchase and rentals? It's a shame, though. I've never understood why they don't put last season's DVDs out early enough that people can watch them over the summer and be caught up in time for the new season in the fall.

@RizzRustbolt: I watched the show but didn't get around to reading the books until just last year. I keep meaning to go back and rewatch some episodes so I can get all huffy about how "It's not like that in the books!"

@LittleDragon: I'd love to know if the laughing was between takes or as part of the scene. Laughing at Cas falling out a window sounds promising, if a bit out of character.
