@PennyFarthing: Did we go to the same elementary school? Specifically, are you from Mentor?

@Canuck Wonder Woman: These are a bit similar: [www.dsw.com]
@fortheloveof38: I think I'm in love with that needle set.
That knitting needle organizer is awesome. The latch rug brings back memories of my early crafting days.
@Thalia-loves-Clio: At least one federal court has found DOMA to be unconstitutional, although, at the moment, the court's decision has been stayed pending appeal by the DOJ. So it could be overturned by the courts without congressional repeal.
@LauToThouPow: I had no idea! I loved her, too - she was hilarious.
@WaffleCopter: My grandmother's dog ran away when the cable guys were allowed into a condo unit alone - she was absolutely convinced they stole it. 7 months later, it showed up on someone's porch, a little worse for wear but still in good health.
@ElphabaSkywalker: ""The Tourist" was directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmack who directed "The Lives of Others.""
@I'm Ron Burgundy?: Looks like March 2011.
@NellMood: I'm still sad about where his story went. It was so well done - I knew what was coming in that episode, but it was still unbelievable in a way.
@noodlequeen: Wow, it was never nominated? I have yet to watch it, but everyone I know who has raves about how amazing The Wire is. Especially when you consider that HBO had two new shows this year: Boardwalk Empire was fairly good, but it has nothing on Treme. Yet Boardwalk gets all the nods.
@NellMood: Yes, they were the first two I thought of. The whole cast is great, but their characters really broke my heart.
So was I the only person watching Treme, or just the only person who liked it? At the very least, some acting noms would have been nice.
I was there! I was the cold one.
@Antrack: Well, the next picture appears to be from the InStyle website covering the same event. The paragraph below the picture suggests as much, commenting that even InStyle went overboard photoshopping her teeth.
@Antrack: These photos are all from the same event - you can see that feathery bit on her shoulder in all the pictures. Although there is a brief, somewhat confusing, mention of plastic surgery, none of the pictures are intended to show a before after of surgery. This is about photoshop.
@PennyFarthing: I should point out that my sister-in-law eats only a raw diet. So to some extent, he was probably mirroring her habits (and she's a stay-at-home mom, so she's the one he eats with the most). It sounds like he has become more adventurous when eating at other friends' houses, so perhaps he's found…
@PennyFarthing: Your nephew sounds like my nephew. He basically only ate about 10 different food items - mostly fruits, crackers, PB&J, and popcorn. I just spoke to his mom over the holidays and, at age 11, he's apparently had a complete turnaround and become a foodie. He's clearly grown out of the food…
@CollegeCamel: Not quite. I read it over on Gawker:
@Ms.Enginerd: She lost the primary to Joe Miller, so she couldn't run as the Republican nominee. Her only option was to run a write-in campaign, which anyone can try to do (though it's very hard to be successful). The state did decide to provide a list of write-in candidates who had registered if a voter asked for…
